What a difference in quality! I also cleaned the air vents with a pin..

I used these cotton squares from walgreens which get between the threads a little better than a regular paper towel or a cloth..

2 for 5 at walgreens I think... 200 in a pack.. cheap and better clean IMO

Really! I did not know they NEEDED to be cleaned, mine have been working the same for months, makes sense...hmmm...I'll try it though!

I feel that it performs alot better because the threads are clean and there is nothing to get in the way of the carto connecting to the battery.. If it builds up too much, the battery will seem weak IMO..

Ever get e-juice on your fingers? Then you know how sticky & gunky it feels.

Our VKs are vaporizing that same juice. The vapor can and does go everywhere and condenses on the battery connector. Even if you never refill a carto and never have one leak, it still finds it's way there.

Just my opinion. It's worth exactly what you paid for it. ;)
