So I thought I had done all my homework and made my first DIY purchase last week.. Teaberry was one of the flavors I bought to try out. I just came across a thread saying it is only slightly soluble in water.. I don't know what this means. I was trying to purposely avoid getting any liquids of this nature and don't really know much about them other than to avoid them if you are new to DIY. I have other flavors coming as well, so I guess I can avoid the teaberry for a while. Is there a recipe link for teaberry, or perhaps an explanation on how to safely use this flavor?

If it's the stuff from wizard labs, I have tried it. It is a great flavor and highly concentrated. It has the wintergreen type flavor one would expect from a real life teaberry It also has a menthol throat feel to it. It does however appear to be mostly oil based. It will separate out of your liquid, and it you happen to drip that top organic layer onto your atty it will blow your eyeballs out with teaberry flavor. It is actually quite unpleasant.

I have used the flavor west teaberry and it has more of a candy type flavor (think teaberry gum) and is a lot more mild. You will have to use more of it, as opposed to the wizard labs where 1-2% is a good starting point.

Love the teaberry gum but sorry don't have any LA flavors. However, even alcohol-based flavoring will suspend in pg/vp with sufficient agitation. I believe the primary concern (with oils) is possible lung irritation. Don't know about teaberry but can understand how that might be a concern with orange, etc. However, like cinnamon, I still vape in low-concentration mixes in small amounts. And since, from memory, I like the teaberry flavor, I would probably try a small sample and see what I thought.
