I don't have a Fogger. I notice that some of the rings have quite thin walls.

I have a Nemesis which has a very thin lock ring. I can screw in gently all the way to unlocked, so the top of the ring is snugged up on the body of the mod and if I grip the lock ring tight in my fingers I can't unscrew it. What happens is the ring gets bent out of round and the threads tighten up. What I do then is put three finger tips on the ring and squeeze lightly. If my fingers slip on the ring without it turning I slowly increase pressure until it turns.

I don't know if this is going to help you tayone41, but it's all I've got :)

Thanks, if it happens again I'll try that, the threading on a Nemesis is 10x better than on the fogger, with the fogger you really have to be extremely careful and delicate or it can easily cross thread as well, if I said it needs to be babied, it would be an understatement.

Needle nose pliers on the ring - it's knurled so don't worry about the finish - don't squeeze too tight, just enough to grip - usually the pliers give enough leverage on small things like this.
I've found heat to work better than freezing to loosen stuff. For something this size a blow dryer on high should do it. If not then maybe a heat gun on low - be careful they do get very hot. Soldering iron on the ring could also work. Would not recommend a torch for this - ring is a bit thin.
