I have gone thru two ultrasonic cleaners lately. One plastic and the other heavy duty SS. The SS model was over $100. Both were from China and neither lasted more than 3 months. I am also looking for a new ultrasonic but only if it is not from China.

I have been thru three cleaners in the $75 range which last about 4 months each. Had enough of the cheap stuff and decided to splurge for an Elma S10 H. Pricey but great record in lab use. I'll get my money out of this one for sure.

I may look into one marketed for cleaning ammunition cases, they "should" hold up longer. Guys are getting away from the old dry media units although I'm still using them for reloading. Just a thought.

I purchased one about five months ago at harbor freight tools. I paid about thirty bucks for the thing and it's still working well for me. Guess I got lucky with it. I use it mainly with vodka for cleaning my wife's protank Heads, but may start using it for cleaning mod parts.

My CR seems to be pretty loose. I tried the additional o rings that came with it, I also tried re-using the original CT instead of the Ody friendly CT replacement. I'm constantly resetting it, because its moved. Because of this its a high maintenance part that needs attention constantly. Anybody else had this issue?

yes same issue. once it gets a little juice on the orings, it gets worse. it is so loose gravity will pull it closed. i was going to post about this myself. i have tried the same thing's to remedy this that you have Poppa.

What size oring would tighten this up? Any help would be appreciated.

maybe you have a faulty CT legion. Try to ask esmokeguru to send you a new one for free

Please do the same as I suggest to legion electra
I haven't found the right size yet but more than once I've had to dry the o-rings with paper towels because they won't stay where I want it. Sometimes I put the 510 base on and revert to the screw ac.

i don't think anything is faulty. i liked the threaded control ring too, i will defiantly try the oring's. i think this is more of a personal preference thing.

where is the best place to buy orings in the US? and this may sound silly but the best way to buy them as well. i have botched it every time i have ordered orings in the past. i do a search on 20x1,5 oring and get BMW parts:) i am singularly the most mechanically un- inclined person on the planet:)

This is where I get mine. McMaster-Carr Only issue is you have to buy in packs of 50 - 100, but that just means I have spares. :)
