As a fellow Uk resident I can see Somos side of things. We Brits tend to be very cynical and the message may be seen by many to be cheesy/corny.

But, if you know Imeo and the way he works and thinks, the message is what it is. A sincere message from one person to another. Like Frank85 I think life's too short to worry about any connotations the message may bring. I'm currently supporting my wife as she battles a life threatening illness so believe me when I say I really couldn't care less what anyone thought about an engraving I have on a mod. If they're poking fun it's probably because they're jealous!

These are just my thoughts though. If there is anyone not happy with the engravings I'm sure an answer be found somehow. :)

Well I hope I'm not losing sight of the thread or over stepping when I say my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

IMR unprotected are what most people seem to use. As for stacking batteries, I tried using just an 18650 and that didn't do it for me (only pushing out 3.7v). I started stacking CR-123's, for a combined total of 6v. That lasted about a year. For the past 2 years (approximately) I have been stacking 18350's, for a combined total of 7.4v. I have read a lot of the nightmare stories about stacking and received the advice of "don't do it". I have not had any issues whatsoever (as long as you don't count the time that I passed out in the hospital bed after spinal surgery with my GGTS in my hand, it turned my ceramic dark brown and the batteries sort of...well, they died a horrific death).

But then again, I was also told to avoid Soju when I went to Korea (more nightmare stories). I didn't pay attention to them either. If I had, I don't think I would have had as much fun.

But, ultimately, it is up to you. Have fun with it.

You're absolutely right SSG, no issue in a meck mod like a GGTS or a JustGG

I agree I really see no issue with stacking as long as both batteries are fully charged when inserted. But if you were to put one half dead and one fully charged I believe that is where the"danger" comes from.

Yeah that's the one apparently the half dead one feeds of the charged one and kabooooom I've already got two imrs which I can use for stacking so maybe give it a try see how 4.2 treats me first

I have been very curious about stacking batteries as well. If so many of my GG friends are saying its OK, well I think I am going to try it. I will get a couple cr123's and a couple extra 18350's! As far as SOJU goes...I stayed in Korea for TWO years, and had the time of my life!

If I understand correctly, the new elctronic feature/part for JGG can make the same result or close with less total lenght
Of the mod/tube.

As I have mentioned, I am excited about the engraving. To me, it is a new door that is opening for GG and us just like the JGG is.
Everyone is allowed an opinion here as this is not a government thread
The only thing we require is respect for Imeo and each other.

My opinion on stacking batteries....I've never wanted to or needed too.
Newish vapers, imo you really should first learn about coils, ohms, watts, voltage and please own a voltage meter. Provari's are not voltage meters.
Not knowing what you are doing and how each effect your experience may be dangerous.
Just get some vaping under your belt for now and learn at a healthy pace.

It seems to me that everyone has a different opinion on stacking batteries Idaho. When I first joined the forum a lot of people I saw post discouraged the practice. However quite a few people do it regularly! I can't even conceive of the difference that higher voltage vaping makes, if any. I'm not trying to push the boundaries, just trying to learn what they are, so I do not cross them!
