We agree again yankee. Somo has its opinion and its very respectable. I was just talking about people that will always have a problem with GG line if you know what I mean.

I'm confused Imeo. I was referring to Somo preferring no TMF engravings. He is certainly entitled to his opinion and I respect that because taste is subjective. Not sure what you mean by never bought a GG, etc.
There was a poster that wanted you to keep your head up because you should not be offended at others taste. I'm not quoting. I was simply addressing different taste and opinions.

Patric, maybe I got misunderstood. As I said to Ynkee, I meant people that will never like GG series whatever I make. Engravings just shows how I feel. It would be very strange to see that all people like it. Its impossible!

Imeo, I'm not sure to understand you correctly either. On the "big" French speaking Forum there is quite a lot of people interested in the GG line. As for the engraving, some prefer the "older" ones, others not. It's a matter of personal taste. And everybody is entitled to speak of his/her opinion. But, I know for a fact that there is many of JustGG pre-orders placed by members of our French Forum .

And I second Sebastien when he says that : "I don't think such comments came from French people communicating on the French forum. There are almost only interesting comments on the JGG french thread."

I think the engravings on this batch looks great. But as stated already..It's all personal taste and opinion.

Now what I would absolutely love would be a devise engraved in Greek! While I cannot understand or speak a lick of Greek...I still think it would be extremely classy!! And very sexy!

Sebastian there is no need to say that an opinion about engravings is wrong. No one has any ulterior motive. It is just people prefer different things. For example, I like Wings to be vertical when GGTS is on a table because I want the wings to show in the right direction when I am vaping, and this is when I hold GGTS horizontally. I believe that wings have more space when they are along the tube and not going around it. There is nothing wrong with this. You like to see your wings in the right direction when its sitting, I like me and other to see them when vaping. A vertical engraving allows people to read cleary "The GG" when I am vaping it which is nice. To each its own. And it is not only my opinion but also of many veterans here on the forum. What this talk about wanting cheap engravings, it has nothing to do with that. Anyway when I receive the JGG we will see how it goes. I did not like the horizontal engravings on the last batchof GGTS because it left spaces and was not in symmetry with the wings. Hope JGG will be better.

PS: Again stressing the point, engravings should look good when vaping and not when sitting. A GGTS is never sitting!!

Not trying to be a smart A or anything but i was just curious... isn't your whole hand wrapped around the mod when you vape, so people wouldn't see the engravings anyway? I was messin around with my ggts trying to hold it different ways and the only way I could hold it to show the engRavings was to use my ring finger to push the button while keeping my middle and pointing finger fully extended haha

The JGG engravings are more prominent than earlier GG items. Most earlier devices were bare in comparison. The iAtty, Oddy, UFS, AVS were all bare. The engravings that were present on the battery devices were much lighter and less bold. By incorporating these deeper bolder engravings on virtually every new device they are a bit distracting and they become the focal point of each device. When two if these devices are combined as one and they both have identifying marks that don't necessarily line up and have the correct flow that the two have individually. It seems to me an alignment issue comes into play due to all the moving parts. I prefer the look of the earlier atomizers & GG devices for this reason, they had a natural appearance.
I do feel that adding more & more engravings is desirable for some but not so much that it distracts from the machines fine lines and natural flow.

Man what are you talking about? you can still see the engravings whether you palm it or pinky it or middle finger it (no pun intended). there are engravings that go around the tube and can be read horizontally. If you have a GGTS from before the last batch you would know. Try it in front of the mirror. The wings although they are on top, can be shown with some of the ways i hold it. I dunno if i kamasutra my GGTS, but I am telling you it shows.

I highly doubt anyone in my state, let alone my city would recognize it as a GG anyway even if they saw the wings. Maybe if I were in Greece, I would try harder to represent and show off...

lol, i don't try to show off, but you know car brands for example are easy to spot from anywhere, and still they put their logo to be seen in the front. The GG logo is one of the most artistic and elegant logos (both wings and "The GG"). It should be seen clearly by everyone.

I completely agree with you on that! I was just saying that if anyone around here knew about GG I would definitely try to show it off as much as possible.
