These guys need to pay attention to what they are doing and not be lecturing anyone, get you in and out of the line no screwing around lecturing people about their lifestyles

I mean does this guy do this all day? No wonder it takes forever to get through these lines at times!

Good thing you didn't have a pack of real cigarettes, what would have been the lecture then? or would he have punched you in the face until you got it through your head??? lol

Anyone with Cigs or E-cigs ... all day pulling people aside telling them his story, can we say this could certainly slow things down!

Sometimes I get a vibe from people who quit cold turkey that I'm somehow cheating.

Fact is I like nicotine. I don't plan on quitting it anytime soon.

I'm sure the tsa attracts the same type of people that are drawn to mall security jobs. He was probably on a power trip and having a nic fit.

TSA agents have the power to be extremely annoying if they feel like it, so it's better not to try them on, unless you have the time, will and knowledge to do so.

A good and neutral reply could be "My doctor recommended them to me and I trust him/her." You may or may not have a doctor that recommended them to you, but many doctors do, so why not? The word of a doctor holds greater weight than a random TSA agent, so he will see that his lecture lost its power... unless he's very narcissistic, which is not unlikely.

Thanks people. I definitely didn't want to get into it with a TSA guy. I was only accompanying my daughter to her flight. Can they really confiscate my PV? There is definitely less than 3 ounces in it so what would be the problem?

Clear security and as you walk away be like "theres a reason you make $14 an hour". It may not be true but it doesnt matter, if he runs after you just to say "hey, i make $18!" he already looks like a twerp.

What the heck? When the TSA guy saw my e-cig in my purse he knew what it was but he felt the need to lecture me telling me I should quit vaping. Said he quit analogs cold turkey 27 years ago and I should too. Ugh. I'm just so happy I have been 5 weeks now without an analog!
