Getting alcohol isn't a problem. I don't drink though, everyone picks their own poison, if you catch my drift.

Also, nicotine making me dizzy? I hadn't been smoking as much as I used to but I was right around 2 packs every 3 days before today. It would take a lot to make me dizzy.

Oh, and btw I did get the starter kit, so I can have two different flavors going at once.

My next order will be a VV battery, a few tanks, coils and whatever flavors I decide I like.

I emptied the Tribeca I had tried today and returned .8 Of the 2.4 To the bottle. It didn't spend much time soaked in the Tribeca so I just soaked everything (not the battery of course) in warm water (replacing the water a few times), and am letting it dry overnight.

I am going to try cool mist (finally, menthol) and turkish tobacco tomorrow.

Cool. And the vodka I use for soaking and the vodka I use for drinking are so totally 2 different things!!!

(The dizzy was just a standard warning, who knows how someone will react to vape, vg/pg and a new nic delivery method.)

Yea, a soak and rinse should be fine. I usually take the wicks and give them a little taste to see if they still have the old flavor. And that little bit of saliva helps the frayed ends get back into the tank.

Ah, the secret Seventh Hole!!!! You'd be amazed at how many long time Halo users are blown away when they finally discover this!!

Don't forget to get 1 or 2 tank replacement tips. And there is a standing 10% off juice for ecf members (which you are).

Yeah I saw that coupon code on the sticky, wish I would have signed up and seen it a week ago, but that is still awesome, every little bit helps.

I loaded up a fresh tank with 'cool mist' that I let air out over night... I am SO impressed, nice cool (but not harsh) menthol with the most subtle hint of mint that is barely noticeable unless you are really trying to put tastes to it.

Welcome to the Halo Nation - I think everyone's pretty much said everything, but one thing I want to add is that if washing with hot water doesn't work for a particularly pungent smell (Belgian Cocoa comes to mind - YUM) try soaking your tanks and coils in a solution made with those tablets for cleaning dentures/retainers (buy them at any drug store) overnight, the rinse and let dry.

Unless I missed it you don't say what nic level you are vaping? You've only been smoking 5 years (yes you were way too young to start!) so likely you'll easily be able to get to a pretty low level, or even 0, quickly. And has been said, anything is better than analogs!

The Triton gear is absolutely the best for reliability - you picked a great place to start. And Tribeca is my absolute favorite although ymmv! And 'cool mist' is obviously something I've missed out on - I guess I've omitted trying their menthol sampler!

And to reiterate - get backups for your backups to be sure you don't get caught out:vapor::toast::D

I'd have to file mine out a bit to get the to fit a mini-tank. At the moment it won't fit!

I think I've seen on another thread that if you put the cone on first the mini tank will slip in. I could be mistaken as there have been a few bourbons drank since that thread...

I know the cones are only made for the cartomizers but I get it to fit by first attaching the cone to the Triton then I remove the mini tanks mouth piece, then the mini will fit, I get it screwed in then replace the mouth piece. It's weird if I leave the mouth piece in it won't fit. LOL

Cause the mouthpiece stiffens the sides of the tank. The tank will compress that little bit without the tip.

I tried the cone with a carto, just so I could say I did. But cartos are so inferior to the tanks, I don't use them. The cone with the mini tank a few times, but I was changing tanks/flavors so often, it was a pain.

I thought about finding a tool that would expand the cone, like a reamer, but without the threads. But, not worth the effort. It's in the case for the last 2 months.

Any takers?? (irridescent)

Silly just buy more batterys so you don't have to change them. I'll buy the cone if you don't want it. I only have the one that come with my kit. LOL :p

Y'all know me by now.........I'm going to have enough batteries to last 2 weeks without a charge.

I pulled the black sticker off a carto, used some rubbing alcohol to get the stickiness off, threw on my red drip tip and the cone. Looked awesome! Got a cool stainless look with the demon red triton.

sent from galaxy tab 3 using tapatalk

Cool...........so many options with the Triton.

Congrats to you! And ya, you started smoking at a young age, but smart enough to know you need to quit at 19! KUDOS to you! You more than likely haven't damaged yourself at all and can fully heal and I'm so happy for your decision.

Looks like everyone answered your questions, but always know the entire Halo Nation is here for you should anything else pop up.

So both of my batts died today for their first times. The first one gave the warning blinks, so I threw it on the charger, the light turned blue after an hour or two, and everything worked okay.

The second batt gave no warning blinks, and just died, and now that it is plugged in, the light is red, but gives a blue blink every 5-10 seconds. Is something wrong? Did I just not notice the blinking on the first one? is the batt a defect maybe?

Oh, it has been blinking since the second I put it on. but the blinking has progressivley sped up.

The light on the charger blinks to show state of charge, it blinks more when it gets close. And I'd leave it on for an extra hour or so if you can spare it after it goes blue. That final phase of the charge is important. And don't worry, it won't overcharge. But I wouldn't leave it unattended.
