Bad is the MAN!! Helped me out tremendously when I first got into APV's and switched over to carto tanks...
It was because I learned so fast how to have a great vape waiting for me with a solid tank setup, that gave me the courage to tinker with RBA's.... Knowing that if I had trouble getting my Gennies up and running, at least I'd have a great vape to fall back on until I succeeded.
Now, I have both!!! Bad's telling the truth.... A properly working RBA is on a completely different level of flavor and vapor! Believe that!!!

MORE commentary?

You guys don't want to get me started. I already have said RBA's can be a super juice delivery device. My new favorite, go-to vape. And although I've only touched a cartotank a couple of times in the last week or so, they will always remain a part of my setup.
Thanks for all the earlier shout outs guys, you all are very flattering. I'm not so certain how deserving it is. I still consider myself a noob with the RBA's so don't take what I say as being gospel. However, let my emphasize they're NOT for everyone.
I would not recommend one to anyone who doesn't like to tinker with something to get it to work. Some people enjoy doing that, and they will get some personal satisfaction out of doing so. These things do not work right out of the box. Most people have to build 2-3 wicks and/or coils before they have an ideal vape. This kind of experience can be very frustrating for some. For others it is more of a challenge and they are able to see progressive improvements with each effort put forth. These people have more patience and determination to see it through until it works right for them. Which category do YOU fit in?
I would not recommend an RBA to someone who does not have the time available needed to put into one. At least in the beginning when there is the typical learning period and there is some trial and error, these can take up a lot of time. If you don't have an hour or two every now and then to devote to and to fiddle with an RBA, then stick to what you are familiar with.
I would not buy one on a whim like you might for any other juice delivery device. I believe you need to do your homework and research how RBA's differ from one another, learn how they work, learn what's involved, READ and watch video demonstrations on wick rolling and wire wrapping. You need some type of ohm reading device (the Provari does this just dandy) and possibly a mini-torch. This part pretty much goes with the "doesn't work right out of the box" category.
You rarely read about this but I will bring it up here. I wear corrective lenses and even then my eyesight is not great for "tiny things." The parts of an RBA are pretty darn small. Since I work in surgery, I have those built-in telescope glasses that many surgeons wear during micro surgery and still these parts look small. It might be benefitial getting one of those jeweler or watch magnifiers that have the built-in light to work with RBA's. These parts are that tiny; think watch-size parts.
I would not get one of these with the intent of it being my only delivery device. (Always have a backup system in place) It took me a couple of weeks to get my first one up and running quite nicely, and only after 2 wicks and three coils. I had to replace a coil last night on one of the AGA's because the wire broke. So that is coil number four. Sometimes these can get so frustrating that you just need to put it away for a while and come back to it at a later time. That's when you need your tried-and-true backup system.
It gets easier and faster each time I do it (the coils, I still suck at the wicks and have begun using pre-rolled ones), and you start to get a little methodology put in place, just like you do with your own methodology with using cartotanks or whichever delivery device you currently use.
