The only problem with these is that they do not last terribly long. This is because they do not have as much capacity as a mega cartomizer, and they suck up liquid really fast.
Other than that, these cartomizers are really badass.
Well I ordered me some yesterday as soon as they hit the shelves. I inadvertently burned one out on my screwdriver So my experience with them was short lived. Nonetheless the 2nd tester did perform like a champ with BBM, until its demise.
I only ordered 5 of these. I'm in love with the v2's and fusions, but I wanna try all of IKV's cartos. even if they are short-lived, I still have several v2's, fusions, and golds to live off of. And if a carto still works and tastes good after a week, it's money well spent IMO.
I got some in yesterday. Just wondering if you all are running these with the inner clear ring. Using mine with a drip tip. Do you like the new filler? thanks
Hey guys. I just received a bunch of these and I am having a little problem figuring out the best way to refill them. On the initial fill, I'm taking off the white cap and inner ring, filling it slowly with the carto tilted and rotating it to fully soak the new filler. I let it sit for about 30 minutes, make sure it is full and stick on a drip tip. Everything is fine till I need to refill it. I've tried refilling it the same way as the initial fill and have tried dripping 2 to 5 drops in the drip tip. I have made sure that the hole in the center of the filler is opened up. I have tried taking out the inner ring but not sure if it is required on this particular carto and have put it back in. It seems I have inconsistency from vape to vape and no matter how I fill it, I just don't get consistent results. I figure it is probably something I'm doing wrong. And I'm experiencing this with 3 901LR cartos at the moment. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.
When I fill these cartomizers I remove the caps and all inner rings so that the filler material is exposed. Simply drop onto the filler material and avoid the center. I usually drip 3-4 at a time and wait a moment for it to soak in and continue to do this until the material looks saturated.
Hey Ted,
You can discard th inner ring, if you like. It's a splash guard, but not really necessary and plus it can deflect the liquid entering as it does coming back up. When you add 3-4 drops for topping off, give a slight outward puff into the unit. Just a slight one, it will force all the liquid where needs to go for an even burn.
Thanks Isaac, I really appreciate the help. I'll try what you said and see if that makes a difference.
Just out of curiousity, how long should I wait to take a second drag on these LR's? I'd like for them to last quite a while, but still want to get the most enjoyment out of them. I'm kinda baby-ing them now and alternate between two ecigs. One is a V3 at 3.7 volts and one is an ego 900mah bat. thanks
