Cut mesh, torch, roll, torch, wrap coil.

Is all I do for a setup that needs nothing more than a couple seconds of poking coils to sort out hotspots.

Stopping all the quenching and burning off juice and rolling paper and drillbits blah blah blah was the best thing I ever did as far as setting up a genesis atty.

Tricks for getting it right. That is the issue.

Doing this fixed 99.9% of them. The :-x thing should have come built this way in the first place. What I did is I took one of the large nuts and screwed it down to the base, you can barely see it in the pic. Then I cut a third of the spring from a ballpoint pen and used that third. I worked some of the coils of the spring over the nut. Two six cent washers and the other large nut, and I had myself a hot spot free, quick release system for my AGA-T.
