Oh we'll no matter how someone would have handled the situation themselves. I still did what I thought was right. And I'll do it again if I'm able to. I got the chance to call a very dear friend after I started this thread and after about a 1.5 hour chat on the phone. It left me with a extremely warm feeling. I never met him in person but he has become a great source if assurance to me. That is also a reward I've received from members I've met in ECF.
I completely understand what happened to you. I myself have been taken advantaged of a lot. You meet people, then a couple of days they ask you for favors. After it's been done, you don't get any thanks. Worst part is, they would even give you attitude. Few days after that, they call you for a favor again. Most of the time I go with this:
One is enough.
Two is too much.
Three is a poison that could kill a person.

Guess it's the way I was raised. (God bless them in heaven cause I have neither a Father or Mother now). I hear people complain (I'm guitly of this with my sweeties mom). Then when you lose em you try to do as they taught you. I just hope their happy with what I'm doing now.
I was taught to say yes sir and yes ma'am. And I don't apolize for that manner. I'll hold the door open for someone else, be it male or female. Be nice and be polite. It goes a long ways in this day and age.
I hope your good intentions return ten fold. What you did was a reflection of 'your' character regardless.
Man, if someone did that for me I would be speechless. On top of being a new permanent customer (and would have paid them back). Some people are just rude. I'll thank you too TNT. Good on you!
Props and stuff to ya, dude. That's one thing I love about the vaping community, the community, as in all in it together.
I have a younger cousin who is only 20 yrs old. She started smoking several years ago. Just this past weekend, she saw me and some other family members (that I convinced to get e-cigs) vaping and she tried it. She wanted one so bad. She said "maybe for my birthday you can get me one!?" (Sept. btw). The next day I took her with me to a local shop and bought her a whole kit to help her get off the analogs. Why wait until her birthday?

Tnt, you were raised the way I was. My Mom insisted that her children would treat EVERYONE the way they wanted to be treated, period. No excuses. I've lived my life that way for over 60 years & I appreciate other people that also help others when they can. Even if she didn't thank you, I will. Thank you for helping her.
You did a good thing and the reward of knowing that is all yours! Cherish it and maybe, just maybe she will eventually pay it forward. We can only hope.

Well an update to the first post I did. I went to the local quick store today. She is the manager there. Got my 18 pack of Bud lite, and went to pay. First thing she said was "Hey your the person I want to talk to". I told her "OK"
Her "This new tank leaks like a sieve"
Me. "Sucks to be you"
Her" What you gonna do about it"
Me." Nothing. I'm not at work now".
Paid my cash and walked out.
If you think you need the prettiest thing, then you get what you deserve.
Just my honest opinion but the smok vivi nova are a piece of garbage. Should have bought something with some quality to it.
