I have found a very nice combo for the minifit. Since the flavor is not the greatest (not a big deal to me) i tried using halo fusion in the minifit. I am using to 70 pg 30 vg version with no issues. Since this is unflavored e liquid, it actually performs very well and I am liking it even more so than my usual 50/50 tobacco. The unflavored juice is cleaner, so I am easily getting 7 to 8 refills out of each pod, maybe more, but I am picky when it come to performance etc. I have only had 1 dud pod out of 15 or so. I also took earlier advice in this thread and bought some blue tac to put over 1 of the air flow holes, and I am now getting the almost perfect mtl vape, at least for me. If you want a tighter draw, blue tac or something similiar is the way to go. I have 3 of these now and they are my full time vape now using halo fusion at 18 mg.

Finally received Minifit #2, spare pods and wire from FasTech. Works just as great as Minifit #1. Can't wait to try rebuilding a pod with the wire. I did make a coil just for practice and found it pretty easy. Wish I had not melted my original pod so I could try it!

Let us know how the rebuild goes when you get around to rebuilding one! Received my replacement pods and they seem to be status quo compared to the original.

Only have used the Minifit two days so far, but used it as an ADV to replace my squonk RDA setup. Testing it out to see if it will work for me on an upcoming vacation so I don't have to lug a ton of gear as usual.

Very impressed. I've got some unflavored 30mg nic salts it in and it's perfect for what I need. I get about 10 hours out of a charge, still have some juice left in the pod.

I tried going back to my squonker this morning, and the 3mg freebase I had in it wasn't cutting it, lol. Next time, I may mix the salts at 20mg.

Anyways, this thing is great, my first pod system. I will be carrying one as a backup device (instead of a second full setup) when I return from vacation.

Looks like two minifits (so I don't have to charge during the day), a few spare pods just in case, and a 30ml bottle of juice is all I need for my trip. I'm guessing this pod will easily last me the whole time too though, especially with unflavored juice.

My 1.5 ohm NR-R-NR wires arrived from FT today. I look forward to trying to rebuild the pods once I get through a few of them. Probably won't bother trying until I have a couple to do at the same time.

This will not replace my daily 'full size DTL' setups, but it's perfect for traveling and a backup device for me. It's also kind of getting me back into trying MTL vaping again. I've got a VV Simple EX squonker on the way, and have an Ammit MTL RDA built (1.4 ohm kanthal coil) to try with squonking on a Pico Squeeze OG when I return from vacation.

Yeah I've been using mine full time for about 3 weeks now using Halo Fusion 18mg unflavored. I love it still. Finally found my replacement for the myjet, and I put some blue tac in one of the air holes to restrict the airflow even more. Still no leaking and very little if any spit back.

I finally got around to rebuilding a couple of pods with 1.5Ω "Ready Wires" from SVC. It was kind of tricky, but I think it'll get easier with practice. The hardest part for me was getting the wires through the tiny holes in the deck. I've got 4 pods in rotation with the same tobacco flavored juice. I can't tell which ones are the two I rebuilt.

I have had good rebuild/recoil success. Process is easy once you get the hang of it - recoil in <3 minutes. I've bumped up the resistance to 1.8 Ohm and like it because the vape isn't quite as hot as that from a new pod. What didn't work was 26g Kanthal. Couldn't make a small enough coil to fit. What has worked well:
- 32 gauge kanthal; 5 wraps with 2mm diameter
- 1.8 Ohm NR-R-NR wire (both from Fastech and Varitube (US)) with 2mm diameter
Also tried 1.5 mm coils to get more wraps, but it didn't wick well (dry hits).

On the Kanthal coils (with resistance in the legs), no burning or scorching of the silicone after 2 refills.

If I had 30 gauge Kanthal, would have tried that and think it might work quite well.

Thanks for the feedback. I've got some of the NR-R-NR wire from FT. Going to try to rebuild my first one this weekend most likely.

I've rebuilt a lot of Kanger EVOD heads back in the day, figure this won't be too awful bad. My eyes are just a lot older than they were back then.

Definitely the most difficult thing I've had to coil. I ended up buying one of those cheap magnifying 'reading' glasses. Now that I can see those blasted holes it's really easy now  I've gone up to using 2.4ohm res/non res (just a personal pref) and it works a treat.

Been using this as my only device for about 6 months now. I had two in rotation and one has just recently kicked the bucket. Bought another 4, and have about 20 pods now. So it's just a case of having a coiling session once a month... easy vaping.

I just redid two pods.

First one, I just pulled the cotton and rewicked it. Had it apart, quick dry burn and had it rewicked and together in under 5 mins. I think I used a little too much cotton as chain vaping 50/50 juice can start to dry out, but I don't really use mine as a chain vape device. Slightly less cotton next time and it should be fine, not worth pulling it apart again to me, working as good as new.

The second pod, I pulled the coil, and used the 1.5 ohm NR-R-NR wire I ordered from FT. I wrapped a 2mm coil, completely using the R part of the wire for the coil. It was a perfect length, the coil legs are ALL NR wire. The rebuild went smooth as silk, hardest part being getting the coil wires though the hole. Trimming one of them to be a bit shorter than the other made it pretty easy work too though.

The rebuilt pod actually vapes better than it did out of the box. Maybe becuase it's a slightly lower resistance, but probably also better quality cotton. I used KGD cotton like I do with my RDAs and RTAs.

Pretty simple all in all. I will most likely just rinse and store my used pods for now until my factory ones have all been used. I just wanted to make sure I would be easily able to rebuild them. I won't be buying any more of the pods. I have enough of them to outlast my devices if I rebuild them a few times each.

Because I'm lazy, I will probably just dry burn and rewick them at least once in between installing new coils.

Just recoiled/rewicked 3 pods that I had 50/50 in and am now using 80vg/20pg. Seems to work just fine. Only reason for the switch is a possible PG sensitivity issue. Recoiled with NR R NR 1.8 wire that actually ohms out at 1.97. Like others mentioned, a little tricky but worth the savings in my opinion.
