I'm not able to view the picture but I am a total sucker for feel-good stories. I'm happy for you, your family, your dog, and for me.

Now, about not being able to see the picture: is it OK for me to be REALLY annoyed that using an updated version of a browser requires me to learn a whole friggin' new language simply to comprehend what surely are BILLIONS of Internet options not one of which is: "display pictures, jpg files, whatever"? I swear that the people who write the programs are compensating for lack of something and they need to grow up and get a life. Other than that I have no problem with them.

My Dad's not doing real well. I'm hitting the road to go see him. One brother and my sister are already there most of the time, the other brother I'll miss by a few hours when I get up to NJ. Dad had a spontaneous breaking of a vertebra due, his doc says, to the steroids he's been prescribed for a fairly extended period for other maladies. He's also a cancer survivor with occasional repeat bouts. I know about spontaneous back-breaking as I'm still wearing a full torso brace for the same thing happening to me almost 8 months ago.
