As for the other issue I almost got into it but after thinking of the mess created from <name we will not mention> I passed on the idea.

Glad I did.

Much easier to clean up a mess for SS mesh sheets or Kanger parts then a custom made pv.

without hibi's co-operation it'll be hard to get any info - have you checked with the brazilian postal service? i'd be willing to call usps for you if you pm me the info needed to possibly start some tracking from here ...............

well, not necessarily - looks like j0ker is going straight to the da ................

unfortunately, what i learned from the gogo fiasco - some people really do shut down when confronted with problems. i'm glad the mesh co-op got resolved without any additional consequences for gogo even though, strictly speaking, using other people's money to pay your own bills is theft.

i really believe all this stuff should go through escrow - too much temptation to have a ready-made loan sitting there if a need arises. and what about the possibility that a host falls sick or even worse?

I agree to a point, but it seems that the majority of CoOps run completely fine with all participants receiving their orders. It seems to me that the CoOp system isn't completely broken, just that a few take complete advantage of it.

most importantly though - the acceptance scan shows that hibi did indeed drop it off at the post office. the package might still show up - sometimes it just seems to take forever

On my last job, the company football pool was on two occasions taken up by demonstrably upstanding, responsible family men, guys you'd trust with your teenage daughter in a motel room. But both had skeletons in their closets--gambling compulsions as potent as any drug or alcohol obsession, something I'll never quite understand--and both escorted the money on weekend trips to Vegas, fancying they'd make a killing at the blackjack tables, then pay off the pool winners with a windfall to spare. Both lost it all, of course.

Whatever a person's accolades of integrity, you never truly know them until you've trusted them with your $20.

I'm seeing blue skies for the first time in three days. Was raining like crazy this morning. Since it has been raining I've noticed my mail has stopped coming, even though USPS shows a package I've been waiting for arrived two days ago. It has not. That puppy is crazy, flops all over the place, spins out, skids across the porch. Klutziest dog I've ever encountered, she's a sweety tho. Last Friday she ripped out one of my jalapeño plants and ate it whole. She also ate all the peppers off another one. Did that phase her? Not in the slightest.

When I was a young child I took a strip of bacon and cut off all the fat then cooked it. I was like why the hell does bacon cost so much when there is no meat on it?

Maybe dogs can't taste the heat from jalapeño peppers?

I was in a hardware store once and noticed this product you could add to bird seed to stop squirrels from eating it. Basically it was hot peppers and it claimed birds don't notice it.

A lady noticed I was looking at it and said it doesn't work. She bought it and tried adding it to the bird seed. The squirrel came up and ate the bird seed and didn't even notice anything was different
