I am so excited for Friday...We are staying at a small motel across the street from the Anaheim convention center. We are trying to figure out the best plan of attack...

Luckily, the Anaheim PD went on an offensive a few years back and cleared the Disneyland area of prostitution--which was pretty brazen at one time (not that I'd personally know)--and tended to use the motels as bases of operation.

I'm trying to decide on just how to go about he thing myself. My worksite is literally 5 minutes away from the convention center, but after work I'm wiped. But does all the real action with these things go down on Friday and all else is anticlimax?

I'd really try to make it the first day, go both days if you can. I think the vendors aren't sure what to expect and if you need to buy stuff, you'll have a better selection to choose from. I would go both days if I were you LOL!!

Lucky you!! I went to Vapebash in Chicago this past spring. Didn't know what to expect, first time. I'll be ready for next years. Yes bring a backpack, lots of free juice samples. I think Nicquid gave everyone a backsack for that reason. Good advertisement for them too. It was awesome to see all the people I watch on my computer that have taught me so much this past year. But I'm shy so I only got to stand next to Phil, Dimi, Monkey...and I sat in a nice comfy chair with my friend and watched Grimm Green eat a huge sub sandwich out in the lobby. We had to get out of the meeting room for awhile, the fog was soooo thick. We really enjoyed ourselves though. Can't wait to go next year!!

That's funny that you watched Grimm Green eat a sandwich. That is so what I would do. I know they are just regular people, but I think I will be star struck when I see the biggies of vaping. Instead of saying "Hello my fellow vaper", it will come out like Charlie Browns teacher.
How did you know who was from ECF? Is there a secret handshake? Do you use your forum name on your name tag?

Waawaaa!!! I did see Ryno, he was selling stuff as a vendor. No way was I wearing my ECF code name. I was star struck! I've watched too many vids!! Yes...just regular people but it was so weird. I loved it. I wouldn't want anyone knowing who I was on the forum, I don't say much on here, I just read ALOT. It did make me wonder as I was people watching, how many of them post on here. The crowd was huge. Way bigger than I expected it to be. I bet Vegas will be a blast!

I'm going to ECC in Anaheim, not the Vegas meet. It is to bad that they are on the same weekend. It seems like the stars will be split down the middle. Nova Broadcasting people will be in vegas i.e. Vapor Joe, Tiny, Ryno, Nirvana guy. The Vapers Place people will be in Anaheim i.e. Dimitri, Monkey, Jamie, Phil Busardo. Also Faceless (the Ihybrid guy).
On Saturday after the show there is supposed to be a big party on the plaza in front of the convention center with music and all.

This was the last update we had from Joker on 8/7. The end of his statement said he would be contacting the sad nanners. I don't know if that has happened. We are also waiting to see if Mveraldi received his package in Brazil.

Have fun at ECC you guys. When I went to Vapefest in March, it was definitely good to go on Friday (the first day) since Saturday was much more crowded. The vendors had brought enough stuff (including freebies) for both days, but the "stock" was running low on Saturday evening. FWIW.

You have to remember have some sad Scubas and AFPVers too, these totaling over $70,000 that I'm dealing with too, along with other things. So my time is really stretched thin right now and leaves very little time to plan new programs, which is what is being done to cover these members. Please don't misunderstand, I'm not making light of these losses but I do have to prioritize. I'm doing the best I can right now and as soon as I can finish my planning this will be resolved. I haven't forgotten, trust me....
