Well don't worry, I won't be posting many fun images or videos frequently since it's rather difficult to do on this iPad. But I just thought I'd share about slime mold because it might rule the world some day!

gimme the strength! bells' package still in limbo but postmaster confirmed this morning it left roanoke as indicated on the 15th! now where is it????????????????
Delivered to me today! It was scanned as being received at the destination PO, wasn't scanned as being out for delivery but was finally scanned as delivered by the mail carrier, said scan finally showing on the USPS site several hours after I'd already gotten the package. (Some Post Offices have "live" transmission of scans, some have scanners which don't record events until the scanner is put back in the charging cradle/modem when the carrier returns from the mail route.)

My Dad, ever the engineer and metallurgist, says: Good grief! What is the wire size used to make that fine of a mesh? (Clearly, it has to be smaller than 1/500" in diameter).

Also in today's mail, my new innokin VTR from Hi-Tec Vapor. Surprised it didn't exceed the USPS 70 pound shipping weight limit, but it is already my all-day, every day device within 2 minutes of opening the box.

Woo-hoo! Woo-hoo!

Hey Tibs, how many forum posts would you have if your computer was fast-nanner-loading?

Well I went to town cleaning out my Kangers and dry burning and rewicking and whatnot. It's something I usually prefer to put off and ignore and seems like such a chore. But alas, addictions. Sigh. Also finally got over to the Post Office to pick up mail and got my order from Mt. Baker, so that's cool. No more need to try and syringe the last few drops outta things. And that's all my boring vaping-related chit chat.

Ummmmmmmm...I dunno. Can't think of any funny tidbits, and don't want to whine about my life's troubles. Never got around to making that cheesecake I think I blabbed about several times already. So instead, how about I focus on unrealistic amazements like online window shopping or pinning pins on Pinterest, all because I am too tired to actually do stuff that needs to be done but somehow have the energy to then end up spending hours on end online getting nothing done. There's all these Pins that feature this very problematic situation of procrastination, but I really have to wonder if the people who are showcasing those images really are the lazy slobs they say they are or if they are just posers. Those procrastinating lazy slob posers. Who do they think they are?

Does the inserted image only appear for those using Tapatalk, or can everyone see it? Maybe I should just use a regular browser.

I subscribed to the Snails thread...yes, one more thread to read :D

I have successfully resisted buying myself a big bag of Halloween candy (so far), but it's really tempting each time I see one :)

The USPS has lost another vapemail package this week. Well, not "lost," exactly. Tracking says that it is undeliverable as addressed, which is interesting since I've received a package from the same vendor previously. I'm not sure how to get my atty now :( I've contacted the vendor asking for help.

morning, stone!;)
contrary to bells' beliefs i am convinced the sole purpose for the existence of usps is to give us agida!
Good morning Tibs :) Happy Hump Day

I used to strongly defend the USPS, but I'm having a tough time doing that these days :( This will be the 6th delivery difficulty I've had with them this year. I will say there are some very helpful people working the phones, but the folks in my local PO don't seem to care at all (no matter how polite I am). Maybe I should soothe myself with some Halloween candy....:D

Sigh... there are possible good explanations, but those involve either a mistake on the addressee's part or a mistake on the sender's part. There can be an address which a person has used for years and years that is in reality an incomplete address or an incorrectly formatted address that is not in the USPS database. The regular carrier knows where it goes but a new or substitute carrier or an automated address reader does not.

Frankly, it's more likely that the USPS screwed up, not the sender or the intended recipient. "We"a culpa, prolly.

Honestly, my USPS woes only started this year. Before that, problems were very rare...I don't know what changed, and my address has been the same for decades now (and I even use the 4 digit extension on my zip code :)). It would be nice if they could collectively get their collective ducks in a row.

Here
I just ordered 16 oz of peppermint oil in hopes it will eradicate my mouse invasion. Wouldda gone for a gallon jug if it weren't several hundred dollars. Still need to order some triclopyr, since any supplies locally are far too diluted. But again, very pricey stuff. Always keeping the postal service busy somehow!

I believe I've identified the satanic strangler vine that has invade my property, by the way. Oriental/Asiatic Bittersweet.

That is my backyard with the plant winding up my back deck.
I thought I had successfully managed it in the front of the property, but it must've known I was trying to get rid of it for good since it decided to run its roots in all directions for hundreds of feet, some an inch in diameter, only to decide to then pop up and completely invade the back. It's roots even got under the house foundation costing and outer insulation. And somehow it even weaseled it's way through a locked garage door and under the pegboards on the wall. It was only noticed when it finally sprouted leaves on the ceiling...

I was making all these little rings from the roots I was digging up, sorta like wreaths. I was linking them like a chain. I've got a lot of that root chain now. It looks neat, but not really suitable for indoor decoration since I never thoroughly leaned the roots and so they have dried dirt all over them. But they hold up to the elements so they can be outside decor.
