Just got my two in this morning. I can't comment on them until I first rinse out them out at home this evening. However, there where two observations I need to mention that I did notice while looking them over.

First, the base of the EVOD that screws onto your battery was screwed on very tight from the factory. I don't believe it has to be that tight when I fill it with juice.

Secondly, I noticed the coil head on one of the EVOD's was only screwed into the base half way. I only noticed this when I felt a rattle while unsrewing the base from the EVOD. Glad I noticed this before I filled it up with juice or it might have leaked. The second EVOD had the coil head screwed on all the way. This is something you may want to check before filling for the first time.

Thanks KySky ,...i should put this on my first thing to do when my Kanger EVOD come

I really like a lot of things about the Evod. I like size of the tank, the smaller mouthpiece, and the new coil assembly. The biggest thing I don’t like is the small window to see inside the tank. I use a clear juice, and even with my glasses on, I have a really hard time seeing the juice level in the tank. Three times last week, I didn’t know how much juice I had left and ended up vaping it completely dry. When it was empty, I got that really nasty burnt hit.

The last three days, I’ve been using a clear T3 tank with an Evod coil assembly. I don’t really like the look of the T3 tank, but at least I can see my juice. I hope Kanger makes an Evod with a clear tank.

Maybe Kanger will make a clear version. I'm hoping that the covering will help keep my juice from darkening during the day. My office has alot of natural light coming in and with me setting my Twist on my desk, I notice my juices get dark quicker. This afternoon I made a place holder from a piece of cardboard tubing and with some double sided tape I managed to stick the tubing under my desk. It's a temporary fix but so far the place holder is working fine.

I'm not sure I'm understanding your place holder. Are you saying you made an ecig holder with it? I always carry mine in my shirt pocket with a pocket clip so it won't fall out. I didn't know sunlight would turn juices dark.

I have an Ego C Twist 1000mah with a Kanger T3. For me this is to big to carry around in my shirt pocket. I'm sure even with the Evod it will be big. I was carrying an V2 ecig that fit nicely until I upgraded.

As for my juice, it may just be from the manufacturer I'm currently vaping. It's Dutch Apple Pie 80/20 mix. It's a nice light caramel color, unless it's exposed to to much sunlight. It takes me about 2 or 3 days to vape a T3 filled up and by then the color as gotten a brownish color. It still vapes and tastes very fine, it just doesn't look very appealing. I thought this was the norm because most juice manufacturers suggest you keep you juice stored in a cool DARK place.

I'm considering making a sock that will slide on & off the T3 chamber so i can keep an eye on the fill line and keep the sunlight from discoloring my juice.

I may get my Evod by tomorrow.. let's check whether it has leaking issue or not because my liquid is very thin, even leaks in my Bulli..

Glad to hear that CID78...and regarding leak issue,..also i had some of those issue when i used thin liquids with my T3,...and after i replace the "flavor wick" which is the wick on the top of coil wick with silica wick 1.5mm, the leaking issue was gone but sometimes i got dry hits if i use 9 watts on my VAMO,...but its still better than leaking...lol

I have been using the evod for a week and love it. I think I had a defective t3 which gave me awful heartburn so I didn't use it much.

When my evod starts to gurgle or seems a little weak in throat hit, I hold it upside down and a drop or two of water will run down to the end of the mouth piece. Touching the mouth piece to cloth will draw the drop hanging there out.

The breathing tube is different from the t3 and looking down the mouth piece i can see all the way down to the inner tube which is attached to the coil assembly. This change may make my method of removing condensation work on the evod while it would not work on a t3.
Also the clear mouth piece on the evod allows you to see the water drop and know you have removed the water drop. I prefer the evod over ,my old standard, ce3 which i have not used since getting the evod.

The stainless steal evod looks great on my stainless 650mah ego batteries. About the size of a cigar with the two attached.

Sometimes the popping noise that the coil makes gets kind of quiet and muffled sounding. When that happens, I don't seem to get quite as much vapor or TH. I guess you'd call that gurgling. I just ignore it. It always starts working normally again after a few hits.

I've been using my Evod coil for two weeks now. This last week I've been using it with a T3 tank. I'm pretty happy with this combination. So far, it's been a lot more consistant than the T3 coils.

Wow! I'm definitely a chain vaper. I vape 1or2 fully filled T3 a day. Maybe you could benefit from a smaller clearo like the T2.

I got a T3 and even though the draw is a bit airy, its ok. I also got one of the "bad" T3s with the plasticky taste but I am trying some things to try and minimize it.
In the meantime I have been looking closely at the EVO D and I think I'm going to grab one or two of these :) I much prefer the bottom coils to the strings hanging off the top coil in a normal clearo (I never could figure out why clearos were configured that way, lol)
I'm glad I found this thread :thumb:
