I got those machine slots too. But I was talking about the 3 small holes on the 510 connector Those are the ones I slotted.

I guess the air adjuster would work. I just did not want to add the height.

Ok, so I am not the only one. Has anyone considered getting this: Ego-T Adapter

Not to threadjack, but I got one of these adapters. However, my Davide Mini will not screw on to it. It seems like the center post on the Mini is too long.
Do I need a different adapter? All my other stuff is 808 threaded, so I don't have anything to compare.

To be honest, people will say use an adapter, but I have found that it really *compromises* "contact" for a good vape. I have used 510-to-ego adapters on mechanicals as well as VV, and there is always a compromised vape, and I think this is because you are adding antoher layer so you're not getting "primary" connection anymore.

It works, but IMHO, not well. I can tell a difference each and every time
