Got my black o rings coming today in the mail, was just wondering if its pretty easy changing them out. Anyone done it? Any tools required or can you basically use your fingers. Thanks

Fingers, it's super easy. You'll have to fight with the one that goes on the base to get it to stay in place, but it's still easy. The hardest part is getting the big fat one out that is at the top of the tank near the mouthpiece.

Going to try the rba today... The cotton that was in the pakage do I need to take it in half before I cut a piece?

Make sure you check to see which way the grain is going and cut with it and not perpendicular to it. I made the mistake of not checking and just cutting the same direction as the fold. Wasted most of my cotton because trying to wick with it just caused it to rip apart way too easily.

I've been working with CelluCotton for close to 6 months now and haven't had a problem with density since learning it in the beginning. Is there a sweet spot for coil placement on these? I wick my Lemo just like that as well and never have problems. Tried to apply the logic to this tank and it wouldnt grasp it. I wonder if it's because I'm used to running larger diameter coils. I'm going to mess with it later today and see what I come up with. Maybe I'll try some of that Japanese Organic Cotton everyone keeps giving me and I throw in a baggie in my vape cabinet.

I have no probs with my lemo either. The STm is limited to 25w imo. Juice channel design or something.. dunno.

There was one person here earlier that had probs like you are experiencing. He noticed that his juice channels weren't machined all the way to the top perfectly. He widened out the channels at the very top and said it fixed his dryhit issues. You might want to take a look at those channels for consistency.

I'm assuming that your coils are pretty symmetrical as you said no probs with the lemo.


Is it reading the correct res for your build? The pos airtube comes loose on mine regularly causing res fluctuations.

So I got my Mini 2 days ago. Been tryin it on several devices and found I really like it like this:

I have it on one of Zen's DX-490 tubes in Nickle Plated Brass with Gun Metal Top Cap and Switch. I run it at the smallest air flow setting and use a Zen Black Delrin Vaporizor (drip tip). The juice is O-Face from Beantown Vapor at 6mg nic.

I'm not a fan of airy draws but at the lowest air flow setting and with the extended length of the drip tip, I find this gives a very nice warm easy lung hit. This may replace my Kayfuns as a daily carry...

Here we go with the new setup. Mini X 2= great combo. SXmini and SubTank mini. RBA, Twisted 28g, 0.49 ohm, organic cotton. Sa-moooth.





Used a toothpick to gently remove the red o-rings to replace with the black ones that came today. easi-peezi

Easy to replace orings bit u need to pry out old ones , toothpick should come handy but I used a dental pick'

wick for rba using rayon, thick but w/short tails, i can go through 30mls(a day or 2) b4 noticing dryish and/or burnt tasting hits because coil is gunked up, im guessing because of my fruit juices, using approx 60/40 vg/pg.
i just take out wick, burn coils clean then rewick

I'm at .6%, on a DIY 90% VG juice with natural tobbaco extract & honey flavor. But I seldom reach 10 ml per day, tops.

I get it off of eBay. Better prices than through a B&M web outlet. 20 cotton cotton pads for about $5-$6 with free shipping

With a few local exceptions, such as the ribbon Kanthal, I use Fasttech. It requires some planning ahead, but I do just fine.
Base liquids also mostly local (but of German origin), and flavors from these guys: John Smith's by Twisted. The original Twisted range has some great flavors too (Red Hornet, Tahity Sunset etc.). And I tend to batch-order, usually halving the price.

Fasttech = pre-planning for sure! LOL

I use them for clone tanks, drip tips, and vape tools.

But Kanthal, Fasttech sells 10 meters (33 ft) for $3.31. I can get 100 ft (30.48m) for $4.60 on eBay. No savings at all.

Temco's Kanthal A1 is more consistant in res per foot than ebay or amazon suppliers imo. The last spool I received from amazon was from lightening vapes....it was 15% higher in res per foot than spec. Not close enough for the sub ohm builds on my mech mods.
