Confirming my laziness. I bought the Kanger cotton and rba coils pack. Comes with a big chunk of cotton and 20 coils. They read .8 ohms... for 7$ taxes in at a B&M, that's fine with me.

Using one now... love the rba for taste.

Is that the parallel wound? Looks like two legs each side...am I seeing double?

I don't have leaks, but that ”fix” strikes me as a monumental exercise in futility. It simply cannot possibly address the issue. And I doubt I'm missing something.

I get a lil leaking after refilling my tank. But it comes from around the bottom. Almost like the bottom oring (actually would be the middle oring) isnt sealing properly. It comes n goes...

leaks from airhole would be:
coil gasket, theres 2 of them 1 at coil base and 1 at the top chimney hole
coil not screwed in correctly
debris where bottom coil gasket meets base
defective base and or defective coil head
bad wick or wick pushed too far past the wicking holes
flooding for whatever reason like over priming

bad red seals wouldnt cause leaks coming from within air holes

My point being that no matter what one adds in the OCC won't stop a leak of any kind whatsoever.

actually it can if too much juice gets in the occ coil, stuffing cotton inside coil will soak up excess juice coming from bad oring within the coil, too much wicking or overpriming.

If the OCC is flooding its probably because you over primed it.

If the RBA is flooding its probably because there Isnt enough wick and /or you over primed it.

The only time Ive ever had leaking with my subtank mini was if my tank was half filled or less, and I opened my tank for whatever reason (to check a coil for gunkyness, make sure a build was good, etc) but didnt top off with juice afterwards, it would leak through the airholes when reassembled. Could be because a vacuum seal was broken or something and the juice creates the necessary pressure for it. To fix, just always top off with juice if you open your tank so the seal is reestablished.

Got the mini yesterday, really nice! It's not significantly better than the Atlantis this far but I'm only about 3 tanks in. Looking forward to the rba deck to see if it keeps up with the prebuilts!!

not that the occ coils are bad but i always seem to go back to my rba build.
but i dont have an atlantis to compare the prebuilt coils.
i think im done w/prebuilt coils. i'll only buy tanks that have a rba from now on or at the very least have easy rebuildable coils like the occ

Totally agree, for plug-n-play simplicity, it's great!!
