Kayfun chimney popped off

Hello,

I dropped my mod on the floor. When I went to take a vape, I heard a loud pop and some air shot into my mouth. I took my kayfun apart and saw my top chimney cap 1/2 way off. Recoiled, rewicked, and tightened everything down. Everything seems fine now. Anyone know what might cause this to happen. Something happened when I dropped it, just not sure what. Gave me a little scare, was loud.

I was using a E LVT with a kayfun lite v2. 1.5 Ohm at 15 watts.

dropped it.. The cause was physics of impact.

Mine has never popped the chimney, but I have had the plastic part of the tank pop a thread or 2 when dropped.

The threads on the polycarbonate tank aren't very deep and they wear when you take the top off to replace the wick. I bought a spare for about $4 when I bought my Kayfun, but haven't used it yet. Cross threading also weakens the threads. When you start to install it, turn it backwards until you feel a click as the threads align, then screw it on.

That happened to a Rose clone because I dropped it. I was sure it was ruined, too, especially since I had to use pliers to get it off. Nope, it was fine! Still using it
