Just built my second coil, aimed for 1.5 but landed at 1.6 using 28. Just waiting on the cotton so I can kickstart the kayfun.

I did go on a drill it hunt and purchased a small set, way better than screwdrivers, thanks guys.
Great! 1.5 1.6. You say Tomatoe and I say Tomatoe . Definitely close. Also, if you can't wait on the cotton delivery, you could always pull the cotton from a Q-tip or 2? Have fun!

Funny you should say that...
Over the holidays, I had to wick my KF4 with a cotton ball...and while it worked, and was just O-K, it certainly wasn't as good as that Ko-Gen-Doh Japanese cotton.
If I had to make an analogy, I'd say it would be like comparing regular Coca-Cola to the Mexican Coca-Cola...and for those who don't know, Mexican Coca-Cola is made with REAL sugar, so it tastes much better...

I'd like to thank Bronze for putting me on the right track to purchase a svoemesto Kayfun. He's going to set it up for me with coil and cotton plus a details paper on the care and cleaning. I know I'll get the best vape using my Provari P3 on this fine device. Thanks for all your help Bronze.

Run it thru lukewarm water for about 3-4 minutes, then try attaching the M-tank on the SS tubes, backing a turn or two then threading forward.

If ever, later while disassembling, the sections get stuck, put them inside the Freezer for about 10 minutes. Remove it and give them a sudden counterclockwise twist. They'd break free neat and clean.

Lubrication:
And yes, never ever attach the M-tank onto the SS pieces without applying some vaseline on their threads. You may use a bit of e-liquid as well, but vaseline is my preferred choice when it comes to attys. There are other food-grade silicon grease doing the same job as well, but vaseline is usually at hand always.

I agree on the eliquid or VG on the threads....thats all I have done since I received my kafuns....:D

Happy to do it Ping. There are lots of Kayfunners who are happy to help others get up and running on their Kayfuns. Many of us got help too. I'm sure you will enjoy the experience. And this is a good place to come when you have issues...particularly in the beginning as you familiarize yourself with the KFL. The KFL will go perfectly on the P3.

Anyone use ceramic pliers on their kayfun builds? If so, are there any worthy ones?

If by pliers you refer to the ceramic tweezers, I have pair I got from Fastech. They make it much easier to build coils by allowing you to squeeze them lightly while firing. They have two kinds. Ones that go to a point and a set that is squared off. I like the squared ones. Let's me put uniform pressure on the coil.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

It can be but, I too use Vaseline but, only a tiny bit. Just enough to barely get the threads lubed up. Hardly even know it's there. For the o-rings near the juice I always just use juice to lube them. It is important to lube your o-rings. They are easily damaged if dry.

I use straight VG

Tried Google, but no luck. How much can I fill the KFL+, and how do I know it's full when using it with the citrus tank?

Removing the top cap? :)

So I did... Completely forgot what would happen, and it did. Glad I did it on a mechanical mod, and not a regulated one.

Back in action thanks to the amazing cleaning capabilities of rubbing alcohol. ;)

Bone dry empty it hold almost 4.5ml, when refilling with a little showing in the clear tank I use 3.5ml. I'm sure those numbers would work with the stainless tank as well.

Kayfun has been activated!

Question, is a lot of vapor suppose to come out of the airhole?

I did have vapor come out of the aspire but not as much as the kayfun.

I've not experienced that. I kinda don't think so. Are you speaking of the hole on the side of the base? I'll take a stab here: on the underside where the fill hole is, have you unscrewed the screw-like deal from the air hole? I tend to just remove it completely as I like a looser draw.
