2. no matter what you argue, the market is not rational; demand is partially based upon the emotion of desire. and perhaps it is not a collector's piece at this time, but in a few decades, who knows? If antique first-wave devices that eventually eradicated smoking were to be hot items at auction and SM were to become a multinational corporation larger than RJ Reynolds, I'd rather have an authentic to sell. this isnt exactly what I believe, but it is a possibility.
Make Dusty verify desire and need.

Even with the introduction of the K4, I'm not seeing the classies flooded with V2's. Might want to consider accepting a tad less if you do sell. I just purchased a brand new one for 44 E ($50) US (not vat as I live in US). Shipping was $12 but I put in for a few more goodies to absorb some of that.
Had a bit of BD $ that was burning a hole in my pocket (funny statement considering the topic). Picked up a low profile cap from AV (thanks UKPaul for the idea) and even splurged on the puzzle SVO drip tips. Looks like too much fun to pass up.

Sure Ping: Cloud 9 Vapor. The price quoted is in Euros and includes VAT. Once you sign-in, you can see the price (in Euros) but without VAT. Been very pleased with their shipping speed and incredible customer service.
While we are at it, I will also mention that the 3 orders I've placed with Avid Vapor have also included stealth shipping and great customer service.

No VAT on either of the orders I've placed. Once you log-in, the VAT is subtracted. I had read here that one of our friends that lives in Canada does have to pay the VAT. Don't know if it is soley those of us who live in the US that do not pay the VAT or not.
That is a good price without the vat. I wonder if I was charged VAT when I ordered from InTaste. Even with the $12.00 shipping $62.00 is a nice price.
You should not have been charged VAT from inTaste Ping. I don't think you were. Of the big three SM vendors (inTaste, C9, and VapeRev), inTaste was always the cheapest delivered price of the three. Doesn't mean it stays that way forever but historically that had always been the case.
I'm very happy with my SM. Maybe InTaste lowered their price since I bought it.
Edit: just checked InTaste $73.96 so right now C9 is less expensive.

It's possible. Just before releasing the K4, the big three all lowered their prices. InTaste remained the cheapest delivered. But who knows, they may all be fluctuating their prices each week. I suspect InTaste and C9 are always pretty close nowadays.

One of the users on Kayfun Korner has a V4 chimney and top mounted on what looks like a KFL Gatemouth base.

While Googling all this, and a few other KFL related things...I came across this little gem of an idea...this person was talking about threaded chimney tops, screwing into the top cap, and mentioned this crazy (but seemingly feasible) idea...

Big oops (big rubbing face time). Thanks HB. Yes, British Pounds (slapping forehead). So without VAT a V2 is $67 before shipping. Not sure if the $73 InTaste included shipping, but they are certainly close.
