OOH!!! Another good one:

Imagine you have two straws in your mouth...
One goes into a can of soda, and one is just out in the open.
View attachment 412653
Breathe in through both of them, and you'll get air and soda into your mouth...
Now, pinch the AIR straw, but leave the SODA straw alone. Take a draw. The AIR straw pulled in less air didn't it? But the SODA straw pulled in more soda.
That's because the vacuum in your mouth/lungs was focused more on the SODA straw, as the AIR straw was pinched off.
For the purposes of an rta with airflow control, it would be like being able to precisely pinch the AIR straw to a certain set degree, to control how much focus the mouth/lung vacuum has on the SODA straw.

So I guess, airflow control should really be looked at as a juice flow control...sure it allows or constricts airflow, but its main effect is on the flow of juice!

Great example HB, I couldn't have done it better myself and I have about a dozen times. Thanks.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

I just noticed something odd when I soaked my new kayfun in distilled water for a few hours and let it dry overnight. When I checked in the morning, the fill screw was rusted. Aren't these made out of stainless steel? Apparently not. If the screw is rusted, who knows what is happening inside the air hole, the center pin and other invisible parts. I suppose you get what you pay for. Seriously considering getting an authentic. That five pawn version is looking more and more like a candidate....

Yeah the authentics are made of stainless, but there is no guarantee that other copies would be of the same quality of materials.
I was always very pleased with my clones, but who knows what they were REALLY made from? Hahaha.
An authentic is always worth the cost, for those who want one! I didn't always want one, but once I got one, I saw the value instantly. While I loved my EHPros immensely, they've been shelved since the SvoëMesto KFL arrived.
Keep in mind, the Five Pawns Edition KFL isn't special, except in appearance. It's merely a cosmetic difference. Not that it's unattractive or anything...it just won't work "better" than any other authentic KFL...so if the few dollars/pounds/euros will make a difference to you, the original KFL might be a better choice, as far as price is concerned.
Food for thought!!!!

There are different grades of stainless.

Yeah rust "after one night in distilled water" sounds like you're dealing with some cheap mystery metal, of below stainless quality...
I don't understand these intensive cleaning rituals a lot of people seem to use...
I use a mild hand soap, and hot water...
Lather up, wash, rinse, then soak in clean hot water for 5-10min and all is well!

I own two authentic KFLs that get used 90% of the time An original and a Plus. One is 18 months old the other 12 months old (at least). I have never experienced a dry hit (until I intentionally tried) or a single molecule of juice leak. I've never had a single o-ring, screw, insulator, or part rust, deteriorate, fail, or otherwise do anything it wasn't designed to do. I've soaked them in hot water, boiling water, dish soap, and alcohol. I've dropped them, stepped on them, laid on them, and kicked them. I have not drilled anything, milled anything, sanded anything, reamed anything, or modified anything in any way, shape, or form including the fill screws. I have not added anything, subtracted anything, used different tanks, center pins, drip tips, or fill screws. Same two KFLS, working the same, tasting the same, and vaping the same as the first day I got them. My cost amortized over the life of my authentic KFL's comes to 23.1 cents per day (and shrinking).

Any questions?

Yeah...I've got a question...
What are you doing with that other 10% of the time?

When I want something different than the Undead, 3.1 or 2.1 mini, these little fellas come into play...

I like the Project Sub-Ohm Mutation X V3 the best, a single coil build gives great flavor and vapor production.

It may rust but have you ever had a ss spoon, fork, or knife rust? I doubt one night in distilled water would rust cheap ss.

Funny you should mention that. I have two identical Kayfuns but only one of them had this rust problem - the other one is just fine. Perhaps some impurities and/or variations in the material used.

I wonder why they call it stainless anyway. It stains every time I touch the stuff. My finger prints are all over it .....

Hmmmm, no questions. You've said it all.
