Thanks for all of your suggestions. Sadly, it's stuck. And I mean, stuck! Freezing didn't help; rubber bands didn't help; and no amount of finessing did a da-yum thing. It was shipped with the stainless parts all assembled, and it looks like it's going to live its life that way. Aargh!

On the + side, the flavor is wonderful :)

Someone somehow can get it apart. Mail it to me and I will get it apart undamaged if you want.

One thing I have learned is that what isn't working today, may work tomorrow. Kinda like looking at something too long, we aren't able to see other options. One other tip (perhaps for tomorrow) is to gently tighten before unscrewing.
Until then, enjoy your new little guy.

I'm going to bring it to the vape shop, tomorrow. Patrick may be able to do something. If it ever does come apart, I'll be more careful with those threads than I am with the threads on my diamond studs! (Well, maybe not ;))

I predict you will get it apart eventually. Like Robinowitz said, come back tomorrow and it will come right off. BTW, this has happened to a lot of people...and they eventually get it apart. Use the mineral oil like I recommended going forward. These KFL's are beautifully machined. While that is good, it can also lead to some super fitting parts that can be a pain to get apart.

Good morning, all! I have an uneducated, noobie question. Please forgive if already asked and answered; I'm running low on energy, this morning :)

I can't unscrew the stainless middle section so that I can replace it with the clear plastic section. Brand new KFL+ 2nd batch, just assembled (used all stainless sections) yesterday. It's my very first one, so I might be missing something. But it's stuck! Is there a trick to this? Thanks!

Run cold water over it and the run hot water over just the end section you want to remove. Or soak the whole thing in ice water then dip the end that you want to remove in hot water. Cold makes the metal shrink and hot makes it expand so, this procedure should losen it up. Don't let it equal out before you can try to undo it. It will tighten back up.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

Hi everyone, I wonder when they will start carrying Kayfuns in 99cent Stores ... Has anyone tried this glass version? The glass has no threads - kept in place by O-rings. Is it likely to leak?

I have the black version. I bought it for gg, but it isn't horrible. Airflow is awful, but it works. I even pocketed it and brought it to work. I don't trust the orings though so I ordered a better drop kit in black for it. I'm trying to figure out how to drill it out a bit.
