I agree. I got one last week from MFS (actually think it was a tiny bit cheaper if I remember right) and yeah, clone or not I'm VERY happy with it. Hope the sale is on tomorrow too, gonna order couple more. Even if they're not on sale. I'm loving it.
Fellow kayfun lovers it has been since the 01/22/2015, and no analogs!
I have had two user error issues with my kayfun lite v2.
Not enough wick = flooding. I corrected that issue, I now know that my first wicks were beginners luck, but I am getting it.
Second, as I tightened the fill screw, the O ring got caught within in the threads (it was lubricated) and got chewed up in the process, over tightening could have also been part of it.
Both user errors.
Do any of you know a good US supplier of kayfun fill screw O rings at a good price?
It seems like I might make more mistakes with that O ring than with the others (crossing my fingers, hahaha)

Here is the thread with all the o ring sizes.
This one is the Fill Screw O Ring. I don't think you will find a better price than $4.50 per 100...
You can still use it without the oring. It seals well without it.
I just installed some FatDaddyVapes knurled M1.6 Kayfun deck screws on my HeatVape 3.1 ES, these are really nice to work with and have a big flat bottom for trapping the wire. The regular SS deck screws he sells are flat as well, unlike the stock round bottom Chinese ones.
No screwdriver needed just turn them with your fingers.
Six in a package, they will go on the Kayfun Undead at the next rebuild as well.

It is the iStick that has the problem, the 510 connector/pin on the KFL is too long and it compresses the iStick's 510 so much that it shorts out.
I would follow Woofer's instructions and put a #60 o-ring under the iStick's pin. You can pick up Eleaf's Bending Adapter for it or always use an Ego to 510 adapter. The threads are very poor on the 20W and will eventually strip out on you.

I too would like to buy a few of those orings. I am presently using mine without one and as expected it leaks just a little bit. Just really need to know what size they are and I probably can run out and get a few locally.

That's what I'm doing now. Yes it seals nicely but, I am not quite happy having to cranks down that hard on it. If I don't crank it down fairly tightly it leaks.

iStick FDV Repair Pictures I only have a Dremel and the Drill Press accessory for it so my Lexan is a little on the crude side. But it works and makes this little box a useful device again.

Nice job. Especially with the limited tool availability. I am a big fan of Dremel. I have both a Mototool with the shift extension and a Multimax saw deally.

I paid $79.00 for a new one about a month ago. You should get $60 for it on the classified ads here.
$60 sounds reasonable to me. They once went for full retail but that was back in the days when the retailers were frequently out of stock. People were willing to pay for availability. That's not the case anymore so I would think knocking off 20%ish would seem about right.
Two different points of view:
1. If you don't NEED the money, give it away (pay it forward) to someone who doesn't have one and can't afford one.
2. SM has already gotten their money. The "support the original designer" argument is moot. So it is now functionally worth no more than any of the decent copies of it. Under $15 shipped. It is not some kind of collector's piece.

OUCH. I have 2 kayfun lite's @ they will stay in my collection.
I have an authentic kfl, an ehpro kfl+v2, a tobeco 91 copy, and gave away another good copy. The first two will stay in my collection, no doubt about it. It's due to great performance, not collectability. The authentics certainly are not rarities.
