I'd love to get that thing, but I can't find any other seller than C9V, and C9V has some arrogant shipping pricing.

R

I'm pretty sure CV9 invented it, or a friend of theirs did, or something close to the vest like that.
Their shipping to the U.S. is tough too, but I just wait until I need enough stuff from them, to offset the shipping price, and make it more worth it.

I watched the video and he said it works on all kayfuns which have the o'ring inside the top cap.

I'm sure it would "work" on the KF4, but there is LITERALLY no reason anyone would ever NEED to use it on the KF4. Also, the tool and the video were created before the release of the KF4, so while he's not lying in the video, he certainly does not mean to include the KF4 in his statement regarding compatibility...

Very cool! With my stellar mechanical ability, I think I could make it work .... :)

We both can make it work.

I can't think of any reason that the two of you wouldn't be able to remove your drip tip, insert this tool, flip the whole thing over, and unscrew your tank...and then reverse those steps to seal it all up...
Seriously...it's so simple, that I don't even need to have faith in you two...I already know you can do it.

I see little reason for it to use on a KFL. The very few times I needed to drain my tank I just sucked the juice out with a syringe. The same syringe I use to fill it. Takes no time at all. To me, that gizmo is as worthless as a coil maker. :)

I agree Bronze, I just suck it straight back into the bottle, takes seconds.
It is as worthless as a coil maker.

You even got me beat. I was never any good filling with my juice bottle. I always make a mess of it. But it does suck the juice back out good. I used a syringe back in the CE3 days and was so good at it I just kept using it when I switched to Kayfuns.

I have the countersunk fill holes, I imagine the counterbored one is harder to use with a juice bottle.

I have an original Kayfun (I believe that is countersunk) and a Plus (which I believe is counterbored). I suck at both of them. I suspect the geometry of the tip on the bottle makes a difference as well.

I'd like that Kayfil as needle tip bottles.. no, not needletip, but those bottles with narrower tips, they are no use for bottom filling, and i don't want to carry around syringes.

R

I have those needle tip caps but they are 20 gauge and makes my Arthur Ritis scream. I need 18 gauge and haven't found any. 16 gauge are too fat.

I'm with you. I have no issue with filling through the bottom fill port. I have a couple of syringes and they work so well, I just wish I could buy juice without those eye droppers. Nothing worse than trying to find somewhere safe to set them down so I can load my syringe...

Ya know, I never got the whole bla bla bla gotta drain the tank to work on it nonsense either. Best way to drain a tank is to vape it dry...

I have 4 different Kayfuns and they never need their coils worked on. On each of them after about the 6th tank or so I do a complete tear down, cleaning, dry burn, re-wick, and fill. That's usually a Sunday routine and then I'll have a fresh setup for the work week. I've never had to stop mid tank to tinker with my builds.

Sometimes you just don't want to vape 10ml's of Monkey A** dry to drain the tank. :D

Does anyone have an experience with this glass nano tank from Fastech? It gives great flavor but it is plagued with dry hits. The channels are clear, the wicking is right and the air flow control is the tightest I can make it.

It sometimes is not pulling liquid into the chamber judging from the lack of characteristic air bubbles coming from the chamber. One potential problem I found is the extremely small capacity - 1.5 ml tops, even though it is rated at 2.5 ml. There simply is not enough liquid on top adding weight to push the liquid down into the chamber. Whatever the problem is, it has to do with lack of pressure and/or vacuum somewhere. That indicates there could be an air leak. I have checked the Orings on the top cap, inside the glass, and they are all fine.

So what is your diagnosis? I really like the flavor from this tank if I can make it work.

The point of this tool is to be able to eliminate the need to carry the little screwdriver...
It's a more robust tool, that serves multiple functions...
And nobody is holding a gun to your head and telling y'all to buy it.
But, it served enough purpose for the person I posted it for, and that's the only reason I posted it.
