I have them in my cart. It was the eternal wait I was trying to avoid by posting here...Under $2.00 from FT for a KFL repair kit which includes the center pin, insulators etc.

I've considered the pin at EV and might go that route AND FastTech, but I'm a bit peeved at EV. It's $6 for just the pin, and around $3 to mail said pin... insane...EV has it as well.

Kidney Puncher does not... they have 3.1, Mini, and 4...They have that KF repair kit at kidneypuncher too, I think; should be a good bit faster than FT, even if slightly more costly.

Lightning Vapes has all the software (o-rings and insulators), but no hardwareHmm ok... have you checked lightningvapes.com? He's got a little bit of (almost) everything, might have that.

I know the center pins on the KFLs are not adjustable.
That is why I like floating 510 pins on APV's. A tiny shim or o-ring on the centerpin will keep it from going in too far, you could also drop one of these into your PV's 510 connector before you put that KFL on it.I bought a Kayfun Lite Plus from Hcigar recently (I already own two authentics...KFL original and a KFL Lite) and it appears the center pin does not protrude enough to make a consistent contact. At best it is flush with the threading. It causes inconsistent connectivity with my PV (no matter which PV I use). The depth of the connector is .162" compared to .175" on my authentic original. I think this difference is in the protrusion of the center pin visa vie the threads. I'm pretty convinced the center pin is not protruding far enough. Not sure why this is happening....screwed in too far, center pin too short, etc..
I know the center pins on the KFLs are not adjustable. But that is not going to stop me from tearing it apart to see if I can do something to extend the center pin. I have nothing to lose. But before I do, is there anyone here who has run into the same issue with a remedy for my HCigar? I'm thinking a shim or oring at this point.
Disappointed with Hcigar as they generally make nice stuff. Lesson learned...stay with authentic.
Nice fix! I would prefer to fix the atty though instead of the PV (unless I knew the PV was the problem). I can get a variety of attys to work on my PVs. It's just this one Hcigar KFL. I will bookmark this part though. Thanks Hittman!Bronze, I don't know what brand mine are but ran into the same problem putting mine onto istick 20's. There is a circuit board spacer that I put in my isticks to make the kfl work. It fits nicely right into the 510 connector. Here's where I got them.

Yeah, I'm about ready to shim this thing. Not sure I know with what yet. Maybe unwaxed dental floss..a single wrap or two should do it. hittman beat me to it...

Fat Daddy Vapes has that Tobeco centerpin that is adjustable but I am not sure if it will fit your HCigar.

Cut out a small washer or two from the lid of a plastic margarine tub or similar. Use a hole punch to get your initial shape and fashion that into a washer with a hole for the pin.Yeah, I'm about ready to shim this thing. Not sure I know with what yet. Yep, that's an option.Cut out a small washer or two from the lid of a plastic margarine tub or similar. Use a hole punch to get your initial shape and fashion that into a washer with a hole for the pin.
