remember what you told me?
I ordered it but it's not my kayfun Lite. But it is my problem. :(

I took it back and have been playing with it. I'm sure I will get it fixed. I've tackled much greater problems than this. Just wanted to see if others had a quick fix.

KFL repaired.

Started with dental floss and it actually worked fine. But I thought it was a little cheesy so I took Trolldragon's idea up and made a little washer from a lid from Hillshire Farms honey ham lunch meat container (which added about .012"...perfect). Drilled a 1/8" hole in it, slipped it over the center pin then cut/nipped around it with scissors and nail clippers. presto. Working fine.

Thanks guys!

No, I didn't. It was a simple, yet effective, repair. Just making a small washer/spacer from a lid off a lunch meat container lid. Do you have this issue?
No I didn't. I was just curious of what exactly you were having an issue with.

The center pin didn't protrude enough from the thread connector. It wasn't making solid contact with the PV positive post and it would cut in and out intermittently. I needed to shim it up a hair is all. hcigar KFL+s don't have adjustable center pins so they needed some rigging.

Too late, just read it. The shame, the shame. Dental floss and a homemade washer from of all things a meat container? Really??????

LOL...Glad it worked though..........

Excellent!
I am glad you got it fixed easily, container plastic or old loyalty (credit) cards do come in handy sometimes.

There really isn't much tolerance for those center pin heights. We're talking a range of maybe .015 at most. If the pin is a hair short it wont make contact. If it's too long it will bottom out and chisel off your positive post. But in this day and age of floating positive posts and adjustable center pins that goes away. I just happen to have an unadjustable KFL+ going on a fixed positive post on an old Provari P2. Neither have any give. It worked on my P3 that has a floater but not the P2.
