Kayfun mini v2.1 trouble

Hi All,
I just got my new kayfun mini yesterday. Well I built the coil and that was good at 1.4 I put cotton in it and the first few draws are good then it taste like it is burnt. I have changed it out several times and I get the same thing. I am using a itaste vv 3 at 8 watts and 3.8. I am thinking I am using either to much cotton or not enough. I tried to use less and got the same thing. So if anyone could help that would be great.

Possibllities...
Wick too long, obstructing juice grooves.
Wick too short. Should terminate on landing above grooves.
Wick not adequately primed before reassembly
Wrong kind of cotton. I use regular, drugstore cotton balls. Never a problem.
Amperage too high for coil.
juice too thick for proper wicking.
Coil too tight? Too small inner diameter.

Bewildering, I know. You will get it sorted out.

+1 on abuv. You also could be rolling your wick to tite. It sound weird but the fluffier cotton is the better it wicks. I should slide through the coil with eaz with just a tad of resistance.

Thank you for the help. I am using cotton balls. I think it is to tight in the coil and not fluffy enough. Thanks again
