The first day I got it I held it for about 12 hours straight (playing poker, drinking and chain vaping). The patina was nearly complete at that point. After the next day of doing the same thing it was complete.
Funny thing, I've always run it in 18650 mode, just because it's so short. I took out the 18500 ring and started working on it's patina to match, so I'm good in any mode. I'll roll it around in my fingers as I watch TV or browse online. It was in my hand as I read your post.
Ah ic. I've been waiting to get the PB stingray but since the LE copper stingray was announced im just gonna settle with that. Preordered.

3.1. Bigger base, hybrid mode with the semovar & air flow control. Fill hole and airflow screw are on the side.
Lite. Same as the 3.1 but smaller base and hybrid mode. No airflow control. Fill hole under the base.
Lite Plus. Improved Kayfun Lite with airflow control and improved fill hole. Both the fill hole and airflow control on the bottom of the base.
Lite Plus v2. New driptip.
Unless you want hybrid mode with the semovar KFL+/v2 is the one to get.
You can see cleary here how much bigger the 3.1 base is, I think its around 10mm bigger.
Then you have the Russian & the russian 91% + I think there is a russian 91% v2. There is a clone that has improved some stuff called the Kayfun Black edition. Don't own any of these so I can't say much about them.

Having both the Ehpro and Tobeco v2, I think the Tobeco v2 (black/silver/etc) has been the closest to the real thing.
With that said the real thing is definitely worth the money.
