I have been using tc for over a year now, i have an SJMY KF5 clone, its as stable as my all time fave tank (Lemo 2) on tc

Why are you putting a twisted ball of wire into it and expecting it to be good...why do people assume you have to have coil porn for flavour to be great

Try putting in a sane single spaced 26g 316L SS on 3mm coil, set it for 330/340 (at bottom end of the usable temp scale, or where i vape during summer) and tell me its not better

No one has ever managed to convince me that i need anything more than a single coil. All that twisted, clapton stuff is .... value. Even dual coils are more .... than reality. Leave that to the fiddlers and coil pornists. Case in point, the GeekVape Avocado, dual capable, i have one, and everyone i know runs it in single coil mode because its better than dual....

You know, I think you are spot on. When I fell back to kanthal wire, I don't build anything fancy with it, just a simple, spaced coil and am a happy camper with the simple build. So, why should it be any different for SS and TC..? I will give it a try. Thank you for your suggestion. Keep it simple, right [emoji6]

I am pretty new to vaping. I successfully quit cigs after 25 years of smoking. I am running a SX MINI Q CLASS. I have found I like using 26g TI wire 7 wraps 3.00 MM ID. At .35 ohms. 400 degrees and 28 joules gives amazing flavor. I have to burn the metal taste away with ~15 draws but after that it's perfect. I just did a dual coil (pictured below) at .15ohms and it's just as good as single. I think I will stay with the single coil as above.
