hi. I'm kinda new to the whole vaping thing. Just recieved my Kanger Kbox as my first step up from the Aspire CF Sub Ohm. All is great, using a Aspire Atlantis tank with a .5 ohm coil. Now to the issue. The device works perfectly, until I switch to 40w. As soon as it try fire it up at this wattage the lights just flash 15 times. Anything below that is fine, but 40w is an issue.
Any ideas?

What battery are you using? Does it have a 20 amp limit? If not, it may not be able to fire that high safely so it's safety feature kicks it off.

Just guessing, I think it's a safety feature kicking in. FWIW, I wouldn't fire a pre-made .5 coil much above 30-33 watts. A rebuildable, with some heavier wire, that's another call. I have a .52 built coil in my tank this morning, and I have the SX Mini set at 19 watts. Got it too hot, it mutes the flavor and might scorch the juice.
