KFL+...Sloth's Vapourney Continues

Make sure all the connections are screwed in correctly. If something is cross threaded it will cause a leak. There shouldnt be any resistance when youre screwing it together except at the end. The last few cranks will be hard to do. Look at all the seams and make sure theyre even and there arent any little gaps.

replacement tanks in all colors are available for about $5...just saw them and now can't find the link. Sorry. But you get like 6 different tanks for that price in all different colors.

Thank you so much guys! I edited my initial post to explain what the thread became - and encouraged anyone having issues or considering getting a KFL to read the entire thread. I hope your alls amazing help to me benefits many others as time goes on. Maybe my plastic tank wasn't threaded properly, I did have trouble with it. I just refilled (gah I hate not knowing how much juice is in there without the plastic on) a bit and I'm off to eat a delayed lunch and walk the doggy I'll check back in tonight to let you guys know how it's held up, and I'll probably need to rewick again tonight since I'm almost exlusively vaping on this today. Thanks again everybody! YOU ALL ROCK!

And I don't think I'll ever vape Wakonda in a PT again, in fact, it may be a permenant resident in my KFL+ which only means ordering a second one isn't an option but a necessity

Here's my build -




That one is 1.4ohm 28g Kanthal - 8 wraps

I also wet the cotton with juice and glue it in place.

The only time I had a leak was when I was messing around with it changing ejuice flavors and it wasn't tightened down enough. I tried blowing through the air hole, etc. but ended up breaking it down and making sure everything was lined up and screwed down tight.

Overfill - that can cause leaking and gurgling... If I turn the tank on it's side I should see a bubble. In an all stainless tank though, that wouldn't work...

Hope you sort it out soon!!!

Thats a good video, thanks! I would have never thought of wicking it that way. Mine looks just like Remie's. I will try it, like in the video, next time. Ive had no leaking so far...taste could be improved though, but twice as good than every tank Ive tried, with more vapor too. edit: I've haven't tried a ton of tanks though, nonetheless rebuilt any coils for them

oh really? I actually watched that one before I rebuilt but went the RT way because I thought it might be easiest to not block the channel doing it the RT way. I may try this method next time

Ive tried just about every possible way to wick a KFL. In the end, I chose what I always choose, the easiest way possible lol. It took me a good month to get it just exactly perfect.

I got a bunch in different sizes from Wizard Labs when I ordered DIY stuff for the Vapeocalypse. Otherwise I wouldn't have them either, buying syringes OTC just isn't done in a small town unless you want to have your phone tapped.

I just ordered a couple of those NT bottles mostly for mixing my Nakis! my favorite ADV, too good to be true. will probably order some syringes since I know now they can be bought online!

I had another slight leak in my pocket on the walk, as in, a couple drops...now it seems fine x.x maybe too full still haha

Don't worry about my juice, I have 900mls of this flavor.

I'm no Kayfun expert, but I always try to have my leads on the bottom - just food for thought.

Single best KFL advice I got is after filling, tip the Kayfun away from you and unscrew the top cap (slightly) until the bubble rises (to release residual pressure)... then tighten the top cap, turn the kfl upside down and blow gently through it (with a towel in your hand because a little liquid *will* come out the airhole). Then screw it on and you are golden!
