The VV circuitry will take up some extra space in a pocket-sized PV. The LCD display looks good and takes takes up a lot of space in a pocket-sized PV.

So, the extra room needed for VV circuitry and the LCD display come at the expense of battery capacity. The more battery capacity, the more room you need for a bigger battery.

It comes down to a choice about what you want. You can get that 6-8 watts of power with a big long lasting 1100 mAh battery on the SLB kGo. Or you can get about half the running time and 6-8+ watts of power with the VV kGo.

I have this on the cart so far:

Adapter: Adapter for Dual Coil Tanks
Clearomizer: Vision Nova Tank Clearomizer V3 Slim
Battery: KGO batteries 1100mAh

Will the above suffice a noob?
The kGo batteries you have selected are not 1100 mAh, they are the 650 mAh VV kGo batteries. Better use the clearo at 2.8 ohms at 3.0V first, then gradually up the voltage as long as the clearo works without burning. These new VV units from China tend to run hotter than indicated voltage at lower voltage (3-4.2V) settings.

If you are a serious vaper plan on getting 2-3 of these batteries. As already mentioned, 650 mAh will not last very long and charging takes time.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Welcome to ECF , and as said , these will probably work for you , as long as you don't jack up the voltage and use LR carto's or atty's , as they eat up more battery power . They look nice . I might have to order a few of them myself .

A few? OMG - what am I missing? I have a KGO 1100mah - another post talked abt the KGO VV coming out - was thinking of getting one - but a few - please explain why more than 1? This is not a joke post - really want to know. DO bats have an exp date if you will.....say I buy 3 and use 1 - the other 2 will stay good for a couple of years before I start using em?

You always want to have more than one battery so you have something to vape while it's charging and a backup if it fails.
ALL batteries will eventually fail.

The Ego Twist is highly recommended here but I want the LCD eye candy.
My question is if I smoke 1 pack/day of Marlboro Lights, will the 650mAh battery last me the whole day?
I know there is a lot of factors involve but just general consensus.

I ordered the KGO VV battery here: KGO batteries 1100mAh

If you ordered what is actually in the link (and not the 1100 regular kGo) then although it's 650 mAh (which will last a heavy vaper about 5 hours) it IS a passthrough. On the website it says you can vape WHILE CHARGING. Something you cannot do with a Twist. I just got a new eGo Twist last Friday...but have been watching Brent's site for the kGo VV and pulled the trigger to get it the minute it went on sale. I'm really looking forward to it. I am always near a USB port or a wall outlet...so I know I will have no problems with running out of a charge. I have 2 eGo passthroughs that are 650 mAh and haven't had any trouble. I'm sure the kGo VV will be a bit longer, but that shouldn't be any bother....I use a lanyard anyway and if I can get a 1300 mAh X2 to ride in my lanyard okay, I KNOW this will be fine. Better than fine. Variable voltage all the way up to 6v and also a battery charge indicator? Yeah. I had to have it!
