kick?

what is the kick and what does it do?

I understand it sets how many watts instead of volts your getting (right?) but how many watts do you want to give your atty?

do you get the kick from nhaler?

will it fit in a lava tube? or a VMOD 2.0? (only mods I have)

I haven't really explored new things in the vaping world since I was satisfied with my setup but once again I want a better set up

Its okay if you can only answer one or two questions all input is appreciated !

You can not use it in a mod that already has VV, it is for mechanical non regulated mods,,, you can set your Watts with the small adjustment screw on top of the pot to what ever watts you like to vape at. With an 18650 Mod you replace the 18650 with an AW 18490. The most important thing is to make sure you have a good ground, the kick has a brass ground spring coming off the side of it, this must be touching the side of the metal tube, if the inside of your tube happens to be anodized then you must also sand off that anodizing to bare metal to get a good ground. Hope that helps, I dont use a VMod but I think you would have to run a ground wire from the kick to ground, but I'm not even sure that will work not having one.

Drew sells an XHaler mod just for it, and the kick fits in many other tube mods and even the Reo Grands and Phidius can be made to run a kick too.

They are called Donuts,,,, Bert is the man who makes them, sign up for the newsletter on the TrippyTip.com website and you will be notified one hour or so before he has a sale, you could also ask in that thread what all suppliers carry them, and follow that thread for sale announcements. I know Hoosier ecigs ,, Mr's T's, Eliquid planet, COV, Dragon, and a few others carry them , but there all made by Bert, Freddy, and Matt from TrippyTips, there is usually a sale twice a month or so on Trippytips.com, remember to sign up for that news letter. I have never seen a clear Donut and dont think one has ever been made,, usually everything has color,,,,, I'm not sure who came up with this idea for the Donut but it' a dam good tip, no juice ever comes back up to the mouth or lips using them

you can kick the vmod xl, I used thin gauge copper that makes contact with both the kick spring and the battery ground wire:

I haven't been real happy with the life I'm getting on the 18490 batt.
