Ok lets me catch up here.

Juicy, I was not blowing clouds I just grabbed a quick puff and exhaled at the ground not being obnoxious in any way.

Everyone else that has asked, He walked up to me said "sir you are not allowed to do that in the mall anymore I need you to vacate the premises.

My first one was a smoke51 which was ridicules. Then a buddy brought me to a store called Vapin in the Cape. and I bought my first Ego. now I am on a provari and have been for about 2 years.

I started with a smoke 51 as well. I bought it at the mall. Jeez it was expensive. At the time it was the first ecig that I had ever seen or heard of. I continued to smoke analogs with the 51 because it never quite "did it" for me. A lot has changed since then. As far as vaping indoors? I do it at work, never where I can be seen. Usually I'll go into the bathroom or behind some boxes. My boss knows about it and is cool with me vaping as long as I don't fog up the warehouse. Out of respect I try to not let her see me vaping when I should be working. I have never pushed the limits in public. I like to be discreet. I know some people who say they've vaped in the movie theater and the manager was fine with them doing so. Me personally, I'd never ask, because it can wait. But as far as just pulling out my pen and blowing some clouds in the dollar tree, probably not going to happen. That's just me.

I think there are certain people who use the "I can smoke anywhere because I'm not smoking" excuse and want to flex their ability to get away with it. Me personally I think that gives vaping a bad image. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with using your right to vape, but when someone is offended by a vaper they look down on the whole bunch of us. Just my opinion.

It really infuriates me how some people react to us. I've been told off multiple times in supermarkets and other places for having the odd, very discrete stealth vape. All in very open areas and by no means being obnoxious.

Although with this particular airline, I flew with the previous year and actually looked up their rules and was surprised that they allowed them. So this year, i was being extremely discreet to the point where no other passengers could see any vapor, but the steward happened to stop next to my aisle while I was having a drag and he told me off, luckily he didn't chuck me off didn't buy anything off them on that flight haha.

I don't think so.

I know all about ecigs and vapor equipment, but I wouldn't allow vaping in a business that I owned (unless it was a bar or something else conducive to vaping).

I work at a large hardware store somewhere and our policy is no Vaping for anyone. When I see someone vape I don't say anything. It depends what the business is. Restaurants, no. Most other businesses, why not. Eventually Vaping will be seen as a good thing. How long that takes is the question.

I agree, places where we eat and smaller more confined crowded places where the vapour would build up easy, I wouldn't vape. But most places are big and open enough that the vapour is barely noticeable to other people and we shouldn't be impeded. If the vapour was not visible no one would bat an eyelid!

I'd like to think vaping will be seen as a good thing, but I highly doubt it. Obedient conformity and the extinction of individuals' rights is the present and the future. Wish I had the bottle to make a stand!

This is why I tend to avoid "stealth" vaping... better to just avoid any altercation in the first place. Once I get 25 feet from the door, I can chuck a cloud and nobody can do anything about it. (Yeah, I'm one of "those" )

But you know - with all the detrimental threats to vaping from the FDA (and other government bodies around the world), the whole "no vaping indoors" thing is probably the absolute least of our worries... Private property = their house, their rules, at least you're free to keep it in your pocket and not make an issue of it. FDA regulations = you don't have a choice, unless its the black market...

I was in Captain D's the other day with my wife and mother. We were at the counter deciding what to order. A guy sitting behind us waiting for his order suddenly exhaled a thick cloud straight up. The lady at the counter looked at him and told him he couldn't smoke inside. He laughed and said, "Vaporizer". She chuckled and said, "Well, OK!".

The ironic part is that I had been stealth vaping for a couple of minutes and blowing it downward. She didn't even see me (or didn't think it was a problem). Blow it up and out and let it hang in the air and someone is going to find it obtrusive. In 4 1/2 years no one has asked me to stop or leave the premises, but I turn it down to 6 or 7 watts in public. The more people vape clouds in stores, the more likely we are to be asked to stop.

A guy I worked with had Agent Orange disorder. He was very sensitive to perfume. If he got on an elevator with someone wearing strong perfume he would get dizzy and light headed. What about peanut allergies? I've heard just the smell of peanuts can be a big problem for some folks. Could the aroma of peanut flavoured juice be a problem? I sometimes work in group homes where they use very strong air fresheners, it makes me nauseous. Personally I don't vape indoors in public buildings, or in private buildings unless I know it's OK with the folks who live there. I don't know the answers but I think we should err on the cautious side. We've got enough enemies.

I own an embroidery/screen printing company. Small business and I was the only one that smoked. Never smoked in the shop and most of my smoking customers didn't smoke inside either. Had a planter ash tray at the door. hint..hint.
Fast forward....I started vaping 6 months ago and completely analog free! Of course I'm really noticing how many customers smoke. I vape in my shop and anyone else is welcome to do so also.
Yesterday I had one of my smoking customer bring me some items to embroider. One reeked of cig smoke.... Got thru it but I made sure when she came to pick it up that I took a short vape when she walked in the door. She asked what it was and that it smelled good. Told her it was Caramel Macciato which happened to be her fav coffee. Told her I quit smoking and she said she wanted to too. So I offered to fix her up with an extra eGo twist and tank and fill it with the juice. She's coming back next week and I'm going to give her some lessons to get started with. Love it when I can help someone to convert!

- I can't remember when I last enjoyed mall shopping. Has to be at least 15 years ago.
- Mall cops often humor me.
- Once the ANTZ policy is put in place, it is very likely to be changed back. If it were about education, then it would be allowed.

- I would have gone back the next day to that mall, with the sole intention of vaping again in it. If I were feeling especially bold, I would've made a little game out of seeing how close I could get to mall cop while I vaped. Would love to be filmed while standing right behind them and them not noticing.

My favorite mall in the world is the Palladium. The mall cops wear suits, have cuff mikes and ear pieces and look like secret service agents. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas but vaping is allowed everywhere.

Absolutely agree with this!
I've never been asked to go outside anywhere (*knocks on wood*), but I use a very simple set-up and a neutral liquid when I vape somewhere inside.
9 out of 10 times I dont think people even notice me vaping.

My takeaway from this thread is that we need to be considerate when we vape in the presence of others. If someone protests, stop or take it outside. If no one even notices then, it's not an issue. If you do it right, no one will be offended. Blow clouds and you deserve to be escorted out.

Stop and think about it...if someone exposed your family/kids to nicotine clouds (assuming there is nicotine in their juice), would you be concerned? Personally, it would offend me and I'd have a real problem with that. Although I'm a former smoker and currently a daily vaper, vaping inside a mall is [frankly] inconsiderate and just asking for trouble.
