Originally molded it out of mighty putty and cut away piece by piece til it fit nice and snug. Then took the measurements and put it into CAD. If reosmods or anyone else are interested in the file, let me know. I tried looking up rapid prototyping services that could make one for me, but the lowest price I found was $190. Unbelievable  Kick fits nice and snug in there, doesn't move at all, is easy to put in/take out to adjust. Maybe someone can start a co-op to get these made out of delrin or something.

What I like about it is you can push down the button as much as you want without worrying about it moving out of place or losing connection. My little simple gift to ya reonauts. :vapor:

Bah, double post. I'll just add my edit here;

My question becomes, would ABS plastic be efficient enough to make things for the vaping world? If so, I may seriously consider dropping a couple thousand dollars to get one of these with the plastic spools and start producing tank's, cases and possibly mods or DIY mod kits (just add xxx to finish type deal).

EDIT: Holy crap.. they make glow in the dark abs spools, so I could make glow in the dark tanks :D

Nice work jimbalny I don't have the time to take the job on or I would. Scary how much it cost to have something milled . I had a prototype kick in the shop but for life of me I cant find it . Delrin is very expensive there are cheaper alternatives .The part would cost you about $8 to 12 to have a machine shop make it and of course you would have to have a large order

I removed some anodizing and mine is singing at 4.8v on an Ikenvape 2.5 Cannon right where I like them. It's my favorite atty so I can't see any other VV offering from Reo Grand sized device appealing to me, but I know I would like to run my 1.5 i06's at 4.1 on my mini reo so bring on the VV mini!

I would think that the batt would have to be smaller, how much smaller I don't know but since I always carry 1 extra batt anyway a small price to pay for a VV device. I currently get about 6 to 7 hours on my 18650 taking 4 to 6 second drags, and I vape about 3 to 4 ml per 18650.

I'm using the kick in a Don that, with the center tube on, takes an 18650 battery. With the kick an 18490 is perfect. Both AW IMR 3.7v, as recommended. So the kick takes up about 16 mm in height.

I have to agree. It is a good vape. I usually vape 1.5 306s. I found a 2.0 306 laying around that I hadnt used because it was a lttle to cool for me. I popped it on the Reo and it vapes just like my 1.5s. I have a stash of 1.7 cartos that I think I will enjoy more now too. After I get rid of my LR 306s I just get the standard ohms ones.

Yeah, I have a bunch of stuff that has been unused. I have one i06 that is higher than 2.0 I think, if I'm remembering right, and I just ordered three 2.5-2.7 i06 that should be very nice now, another black delrin i06 DT and a reddish one to go with Bloodwood VV Woodvil (picked up the i06 and DTs at Ikenvape) . I'm gonna round up all my >3 ohm attys/carto and do some trading. (I really don't remember how many >3ohm atty/cartos I have. That's when I can get the time to find them. They aren't in my everyday storage containers as I just didn't find a good "sweet spot" for vaping them.

Anybody know if anyone has come out with Pyrex i06 DTs yet? How about Trippy Tips??

I'm still somewhat new and a bit confused ha. So what you are all saying is that I can use my standard provari batt with the kick and have VV vaping with the grand Im getting this week right? I read where there has to be some modding done.. I really dont want to sand or mess with the integrity of the mod. What is the simplest way?

Kicked Grand 2.5 Ikenvape cannon 2 mini's 1.5 i06 Ikenvape. 1 mini ectoplasum. I kick bass root beer barrel. Grand kbv 60/40 juicy fruit. Best vapes ever.

Is that the IKV Cannon with the 510 connection? Did they fix the leaking issue? I loved the one Cannon I tried but didn't care for the constant leaking back into the reservoir.

Yes I had tried them in the past, and you would squonk and by the time you took a hit the juice would be all gone and you would get a dry hit. These are the version 2. So are the i06's, this is the hardest hitting atomizer at 1.5 that I have. It actually metered at 1.6 on the Darwin. All 510 connections. These Ikenvape atomizers have really woken up my vaping, I was on a carto tank jag for awhile, but I have found my home.....for now! Always looking for something better.

Got a Kicked REO Grand Update. I tried the Kick in the Grand without an eraser mod, and it was having trouble staying put. Eraser Mod is in place.

Took Grand apart and used the delrin piece as a guide to drill the hole for the feeding tube in the eraser. Took trial and error and I erred on the side of caution, never trimming the exact amount that I thought I should, always less. When I got it completely done, I would try to fit it in, and it kept taking it out to trim until it fit perfectly. This took at least an hour, but I am very methodical.

Used painters tape to cover the inside of the grand, and left a small square where I thought the Kick was most likely to hit. Used a small medium sandpaper square that I had folded up. The Dremel (or at least mine) is overkill for this application, and will not fit in the area provided, unless you take the REO apart. Worked it till I saw a shine, then went down to fine sandpaper. Removed the tape and was left with a small square of finish removed.

Got a meter and checked that I was getting ground out of the location and it was very solid. Using the wire method I did not get this kind of solid ground out of the devise, this thing is really meant to be grounded to the side of the device.

Used it like that for a couple of days, and things were all good, yet a little inconsistent. Even with the Kick in place with the ground in the side, and the eraser mod, I was getting a slight shifting that was changing the vape. It was still working, volt meter was correct, but it was just not hitting correctly...almost like the feeling you get when the battery is dying, just quicker bursts, so you barely notice.

Today I got out my Cape Cod Polishing Cloth and cleaned the KICK top, bottom connection, and it shined up better than it was from the factory. Shined up the inside of the mod where I had exposed the Aluminum, then I hit all these connections with the DetoxIT cleaner and then the Gold, that came with my DetoxIT kit from Radio Shack, including my REO top connection point and REO spring . Then after wiping all of that off, I put Noalox back on the top REO battery connection, and applied Noalox to the inside of the REO where the Kick hits.

After doing this (perhaps somewhat overkill) my vapes are much more consistent.

All seems well with the world, I am using my 2.5ohm 510 Ikenvape SS Cannon Rev2, and a SS Super T 801 T-Tip, KBV Rootbeer 12mg30/70 VG/PG with Xtra flavor, and I am a happy camper.

I have found that the setting that I like, many have spoken about...turn it all the way up and just a quarter turn back. I am getting 4.8V under load on my STD resistance atomizers (as the Kicker only works under load) every time. I know we all sing the praises of AW and that is all I will ever buy, but I happen to get some NHaler Purple Kicker 1600mah High Drain batteries with my Kick, and they are out lasting and IMO out performing my AW's. Might be the higher Mah, or that might be an inflated Mah, as I have heard about, but I like them so far, so don't be scared of them!
