Kicked Reo Grand & 18490?

Since the kick is surrounded in plastic film, wouldn't a couple of dobs of strategically placed blu-tack work?

I put a tiny dob on the battery, so when I slide my door down, it helps lock into place.

There is a lot of force going on in there, especially when you are out and about with your REO. Even squonking the bottle, moves the battery a little. I still don't think the eraser is the perfect solution, and when I make it out to Home Depot next time, I am going to get some of those faucet washers and try that one as well. I think the eraser has a bit to much give to it, but it is certainly working for me, at least for now.

well the kick is a variable power device, not a variable voltage device, which i prefer anyway.

I just successfully installed the kick into my Reo Grand about 2 hours ago. No eraser was needed for me, the Kick seems to stay in place just fine. I'm very happy with it. It has turned my Reo into a whole different animal!! I really loved my Grand before the Kick, but now, I can't see NEEDING anything else....wanting something else is a whole different story

You want the AW IMR 18490 batteries, and the Resurrectors work just fine with the kick. I have ran the shorty 1.7ohm cartos on it as well as the Resurrectors, lots of vapor and flavor.

I go through 2 18490's/day. Seeing as I dont like discharging them under 3.8 and they've been going down to 3.5 I just ordered 4 more aw imr 18490's. At this point if I forget to charge a batt at night I'd be screwed

I got my kick on Monday I got 5 or 6 great hits off my Grand before it died and would fire again spent the rest of the day messing with it in case it was user error but no joy mailed it back to evolv today

on LR stuff I say turn it all the way up. I will try it on mine and meter it. I keep mine at around 8.5 watts.

I actually tried my kick on a 14500 in my grand and it worked fine. I feel a Robkicked mini woodville in my near future.

Now is a good time to shop for a Kick --- new shipments are due in this week for 3 of the US suppliers. The sellers have notify lists or announce on Kick threads prior to sale. (Nhaler got theirs and sold out)

But you can use the kick in an 18490-sized device (with an 18350 battery)...
