Ummmm....I'd say it was the browser tm.....I've had issues with various browsers before...it's never been the online store (except that their code has issues with some browsers)

You're probably right. Every since I got DSL I've been having problems with Chrome on my desktop PC but not on my laptop. I'm using Chrome on my laptop also so I may have to reinstall Chrome on my PC. :(

Apparently when writing code the web designer has to keep in mind all common browsers to make sure they work with them....unfortunately, sometimes it doesn't work right.

The strange thing is that I order my killer with chrome before my move. I had cable then and I didn't have any problems. So I'm not sure if it's the browser or DSL except that it works ok on my laptop. It's just weird.

This is unfortunately very true. I'm the lead programmer for a web development company and browser testing is such a hassle. Not only do we have to test all the major browsers (IE, FF, Chrome, Safari, Opera), we also have to test older versions of these browsers that are still in use. The worst of course being IE 6/7/8. The reality of this means that testing all possible setups just isn't feasible. Modern versions of these browsers stick to defined web standards more closely which means its mainly the older versions causing problems. The day that older versions of IE stop being used should be declared a worldwide holiday IMO.

Chrome has a faster update cycle than most browsers, so it could be that a recent update has broken parts of the site on your setup. The Greek Vapes site isn't exactly cutting edge so it likely has a bunch of little quirks coded in that your Chrome no longer likes. I think adeline mentioned it too but ad blocker software can often cause problems like this. The truth of the matter is that any problems you run into can usually be solved by switching to IE... if only for a couple of minutes. 95% of sites have been built to work in older versions of IE which means they'll most likely work in newer versions as well.

Now that I think about it, I think I read an article recently that stated that some ISP's are experimenting with ad blocking software on their end. If you've switched service providers this might be the problem, though I'm not sure why it would only affect one browser.

where do you place the crimp? Right before and after the coil? The crimps always confused me because I would think that anything before the crimp got equally as hot as the coil... I'm guessing it's whatever between the crimps gets the heat?

At each end of the resistant wire to attach the NR wire.

Allow me to demonstrate.

--NR--[]~~R~~[]--NR--

^^ If the [] is your crimp, it'd be like that.

So wait, the crimp is an extra part...? Meaning you still need to wrap the legs in silver wire and then crimp the ends... I was thinking of the crimps being a easier alternative to silver wire wrapping... I'll just stick to none of the above and run the Kanthal-A1 as it is.

I don't wrap anything.

I put one end of the kanthal in a bead, I put an end of silver onto the bead, and crimp.
Repeat on the other side.

I HATE twisting wire. This makes it so I don't have to. I don't have to worry about how long the twists are, and if I can fit it through the tiny holes on the ceramic. Every bit of the wire between the crimps is my coil.

It also keeps me from pulling the coil too low in the ceramic.

But sheesh, it's not mandatory.
