Did anyone order their Killer from Greek Vapes? Do you remember how it came to you? Was it by UPS, USPS, or how?

I did and it took about 11 days. It started out with EMS and then USPS picked it up when it reached the US. I'd just keep checking the USPS tracking site. It should show up in about 7-8 days.

Well I used my killer all day at work again today & I had no problems whatsoever. Zero. Nada. Zilch. I don't know of anything I did different except I kept the feed holes more closed than before. It seems logical that if you want more juice to feed you'd open the holes more, yet I have seen it mentioned somewhere that this atty works best w/the feed 1/2 open or less. I donno, seems backwards. But I tried it today & had zero troubles. Now I'm curious. Approx how open do y'all run the feed holes? (I just know somebody's gonna say they run em wide open & blow yet another one of my theories.) I think I've developed a real love/hate relationship w/this quirky lil device. But I WILL make it mine!!

Haha. I run mine at about 4/5 open.

Earlier in the thread someone mentioned a ration between juice and the feed holes which makes sense.

100% VG is all the way open
100% PG is barely open
50/50 would be half
Etc
Etc

I pretty much only vape 20/80VG and I've been running my feed holes at about 60% open and it's been working really well for me. And for what it's worth I'm running 2mm wick doubled over at the coil in mine. So the part that goes around the bottom is 2mm.

I have some wick waiting at home that is apparently braided and not twisted like silica normally is. Im curious to see how that stuff will perform.

I might try to build a 1ohm dual coil in this thing tonight before I put it in my new tank. Also going to rebuild my drippers and genesis tonight which will basically be a large chunk of the night.

I run mine wide open because I use high VG juice.

The coil I built is a tad low at 1.2 but oh well. Now to see how this tank vapes. If you want to get it even close to full you have close the juice holes which goes against how I've been doing it.

I have been using the killer for about a month. I'm vaping either 50/50 base or 100%VG. In all cases I don't pay attention to how open the feed control is, I concentrate on setting it up with the perfect air flow and draw and when I find that, I never have problems with dry hits, or flooding. I do fine tune the air flow by adjusting the juice control, which by it nature, raises or lowers the 510 connector. This is what has worked for me the last four weeks. For me, the killer is an amazing piece of kit, maybe even a game changer. When you figure out what works for you, it is an outstanding vape.

Nice setup. What tank is that and where did you get it? How is it working out for you?

It's the D-Base killer tank by Leo with the External Killer drip tip, which by the way is ridiculously smooth and feels great when you're vaping it. So far this tank is working great. The O-Rings are a tad tight but I figured out a sneaky way to adjust the juice control. I have some 1mm paper clips that I bought just for rolling mesh , holding wicks when I'm wrapping etc. Well they're just barely smaller diameter than the air flow hole on the side of the 510 adapter, so I just stuck the end of one in there and used it like a little wrench, works perfect for very small adjustments.

Is it a glass tank and how do you fill the tank, remove the top cap?

Sadly it's a plastic tank, I found out after I ordered it, going to try to get some glass ones. It comes with a taller tank as well.

If you're using it for just a regular carto you'd fill it like any other carto tank , by sliding the tank up on the carto. Apparently filling a tank from the bottom is better when you're using a Killer for pressure reasons but I might just close up the juice control and try to fill from the top and see what happens.

To use the taller tank I need to get a 20mm extender for the Killer. Here it is with a normal drip tip. The Killer is about 37-38mm tall. I don't think it looks bad with a standard drip tip, but I certainly think it looks better with the tip I bought with it.

Edit
Dammit I thought this was a different thread lol. Disregard the 'if you're using it for a carto' stuff.

Well my K705 rocked it all day at work again today. I had the feed control at half or just under again & used slow controlled draws instead of trying to make bubbles w/deliberate hard draws. First thoughts would be that wide open holes/hard pulls would be flood prone, but for me it seems the feed just practically shuts off in this mode instead. Weird. With the feed control on this device, at least for me, less is more.

I was just curious if it would flood. Esp since mine won't. LOL The only way I've managed to flood mine is to intoduce juice to the holes w/the tank open. This has been a quirky little device for me. But when it's 'on' it produces a VERY nice vape so I'm determined to get it figured out. Please tell me if I'm a PIA in the meantime. hehe

Well, after several successful tankfulls... I feel like I got the killer solved for the most part. I've been using it in an IBT and filling from the top cap. Was waiting for the ProV2 to get some tweaks before I ordered a suitable tank for the Killer. Yeah, it's a keeper.
Lucked out and had extra money and saw that gr-modders has the Prive Specials from Kir Fanis in stock. Like $67 shipped and there's 40 left. If you ever use the Killer on your Provari, this is the tank to have. Stoked to get mine, been eyeing them for a while.

Grats. Nice score on the tank too. I've only had my D-Base 'by Leo' tank for a few days now and I'm looking to get something different for my Killer already. I really love the look of the tank, like really love it. But you'd think because its billed as being 'for the Killer' that it would have features to it that make it easy to use a Killer. Like a bottom cap that's somewhat easy to remove and and easy access to juice control. Not the case in the slightest. The bottom cap is hard to get off and once it's been in the tank for any amount of time you can forget about adjusting anything, everything is just so tight.

Not to mention it was basically a 50$ tank and its plastic so i can't even put my favourite juice in it. I think I'm going to order a setup from ibtanked for it, then use the D-Base for a Diver in the future.
