yeah...my threading is TERRIBLE...you can see the imperfections on the threadings easily with your eyes...i finally got the thing off but it took way more force than anything should...i have went in and cleaned as best i coudl but at this point the burrs wont go away with alcohol and a qtip...i can screw it on and off but it still gets pretty stuck...hopefully over time this will go away...but i have to say i am unimpressed with the quality at this point...even the finish on mine is all scratched up and the lettering is not black at all but more a brownish color... in fact if i wasnt a nice person i might think this thing was a refurbished one or used one...and if i wanted something like that i coudl have snatched up the few i found between my preorder time and when i got mine in the mail...

i am not very happy at this point....maybe it will vape well and it will be water under the bridge...MAYBE mine is the only one that is in bad shape...maybe mine is the only one with bad threads.... but that does not matter to me...the product i paid for and in full preorder style came to me unable to open without a vise and with a very scratched up surface... i am very unhappy at this point and i have every right to be

Hope you are able to get either a refund or a replacement. Did you contact the website?

UPDATE

I managed to recoil mine with 3.5mm silica wick. I was afraid that it will take the whole night, but actually went very smooth.
The 0.2mm kanthal fits nicely. The only point is to press the cereamic back where I feel a bit more than expected pressure should be applied. I am a bit worried of how long the ceramic will last in case of frequent recoiling.
With the new wick I can easily go to my level of vaping: 1.8 ohms at 4.8 volts. tons of vapor, clean taste like an ody or penelope. No dry hit issue in my tank, neither in UFS (though there juice goes in from below not in the middle).

I am impressed!

I just found about this this morning too - and thanks to this thread placed my order too! :)

Thanks fr3shMak3r,
Just placed my order with greekvapes.eu. Very smooth web site experience. It's late over their in Greece, so I doubt if it will be processed until Monday, but the order is in! I much prefer waiting for delivery than I do waiting to place an order. Very excited for this device.

Hey thejager, when did yours actually ship? I just wanted to gauge when mine might get here. Mine shipped on the 26th. Im sorry to hear about yours not being well finished. Im hoping you didnt end up with mine:) I say that because I usually tend to get the one in a million problem "child" I hate when that sort of thing happens, but Im so used to that I kinda expect it. Its happened to me with most things I buy.

I got mine today, so far have not had the chance to drop it in a tank. One of them screwed really smoothly, one was a bit stiff, got it to come off with a bit of 2 face tape on the ends so I got a good grip. I saw the problem , which is the non-resistance wire was stuck in the threads. I pushed it to the side and now it screws on and off fine. I check the Ohms and it works. Later I will drop it in a tank and see if it dazzles me. Im hoping it will be wonderful and I can just keep a box of boges around in case of an emergency.

I have it all set up now, got it a bit backwards when I put the killer on, but its vaping perfectly now. I like it. My carto tank is a bit tight,so part of my getting used to it was that.

Which tank do you have it in? I'm practically tingling with excitement to learn more about the killer..

Its as tight as you adjust it. The flatter you push it to the top of your MOD the less air you let it, and if its really flat down you might block air all together. If you have a trap tank by Kir Fanis that has channels on the bottom than you can slap it down with no gap and get more than enough air, so you get an airy draw. If you have a carto tank like most without channels, than you have to leave enough of a gap to get air like with all carto tank set ups.

Its got flow control and believe me it will look as if its closed but its not. I thought Id leave the juice control open so I can see the holes, but it flooded, closed it and its perfect. It will take some fine tuning all depending on your MOD and your tank but if I can do it, Im sure you all can get it right.

A kir fanis trap tank with the top fill screw. Like I said, its a tight fit, but Im thinking that with the Phiniac or Ibtanks it will be easier.

Thanks, that's good to know. I'll be running with the Phiniac and the smaller IBT at first.. Thinking about a ordering a Prive, but want to be sure I like the killer first.

Are you using the supplied pre-made coil?

Sounds like carto tanks will be in "vouge" again. When I was using cartomizers I went a bit tank crazy and bought a few Kir Fanis tanks. They can give your MOD the nice high end look of an expensive Genesis look without the price or some of the frenzy of the mesh and shorts etc. You dont even have to worry about leaks from putting it on its side or have to do the " Genny Tilt" to avoid dry hits.

We will see how the rebuilding of the head when that time comes. For me I think it will be soon as my favorite NET tobaccos really dirty up my coils fast. I use an Odysseus atomizer and even that I have to drop in a new wick and coil or dry burn after about 8-10 hours. But all these really beat throwing out a BOGE after 2-3 hours of use.

Yes Im uising the premade coil, it came at 1.8 ohms. Thought I might have a problem with it as I like making my ohms at about 2.7-3.4. Its vaping up a nice warmish taste. Not too hot. I use a Saber Touch Kicked and I set my wattage at a tad less than 8 and my voltage reads about 4.10. THe kick adjusts itself dependant on Ohms to give the same consistency no matter if your ohms are 1.7 or 3 and above. This is cool so I dont have to be really precise on my kanthals length and I can get 4 or 5 nice wraps around my wick.

Im getting some nice large clouds and great taste from my Tobaccos. I dont go much for TH so its nice and smooth. I guess if I wanted a hotter and stronger TH I could crank up my wattage and close the juice control. Its very similar to the experience I get from my Golden Greek Odysseus.
