Got mine 5 days ago from greekvapes. This unit is amazing.

I moved to it form Kanger T3s and never going back. The vape is not too warm, definitely not cold and the aromas it produces are incredible. And I thought I enjoyed vaping with my clearos!

Only thing is, I'll need to buy a couple more as my natural tobacco juices are kind of killers on my coils: In 2 days tops there is so much gunk that I don't even bother to dry burn or attempt to clean, I just toss the thing and put the ceramic cup on the side for re-coiling.

99.9% pure silver 0.2mm wire and Kantal A wires (0.16&0.20mm) on the way in large quantities to keep up with the pace :D

I think I'll settle with these for a couple of months and master them before attempting a Genesis type atty (prolly the Cobra).

I'm excited to hear more about these. I'm surprised at how quiet everyone is...

Either the folks who have them love them, and are vaping them so much they forget to check in ..
or...
They are having issues and are trying to work through them.

I'd like to know what tanks these are working in.. What wicks you're using, what seems to work best. etc, etc.

I ordered from greekvapes.. Not sure what the in-stock and shipping situation is though.

adeline,

I ordered from greekvapes on Friday. They did not say out of stock and the order went through. It also did not say anything about shipping date. But on most sites, if it lets you place the order and says nothing about being out of stock, they ship within a few days. I can't think why this would be any different.

I don't think a lot of people have heard about the Killer 705 yet. Only a handful of the original orders have been received, many are still in transit, I assume.

Also, the only two places, I know about, where these can be ordered are overseas. Many of us in the US are just unaware of anything from overseas. And many just will not order from overseas, because of the added time to receive anything. If a US based vendor got them in and started selling them domestically you would hear and see a lot more attention and activity surrounding the Ebaron products, the Killer and the two drippers.

Yeah, I ordered on Friday too. Payment went through, confirmation email received. I've never ordered from overseas (but I am patient!), but the email said nothing about processing time or anything. The only thing about shipping on the website says something like "gradually shipping until Jan 30th" (or something similar). Not concerned, just curious!

I agree that not many people know about these, and few will order from overseas due to shipping speeds, customs, and (fear of) the unknown. Their loss, my gain perhaps.

I'm just excited! Sorry if I came across as anything else. I just want to know more...! I saw a few people had received theirs, just not heard much except from a few kind souls. :)

405 vaperz has the ebaron and a spiral looking atty but no killer. Also, I found a third Europe website with the killer: esmokeireland.

Got mine. Put it into a prive tank without any tinkering. Works great with the 70/30 I have. 1.7 ohms at 4.5 v. Gives a pretty warm vape. Nice. I did get a few dry hits, but am learning to dry draw on occasion to suck in the juice. When I finish this tank, may rebuild with thicker wick.

I did have a problem with my tank, which cracked after a few hours...but don't think it had anything to do with the killer.

Ok, I was attempting to rebuild my Killer, the resistance was too low for my taste, thought I had asked for the HR , these were 1.8 so my juice was tasting a bit burny/ too hot. I can not for the life of me get the ceramic cup off the little center pin. Im afraid to either break the pin or the cup. Either way now unless someone has a suggestion, Im stuck with an unusable KILLER:(

Cool pics. Did you have the juice flow all the way open?

I did have the juice flow moat of the way open. As for the following post, I did not try to change the cup...so I have no idea. However there are various YouTube's that show how to do it. One is a recent one by bishopheals. Search killer by Leo. Good luck.

The ceramic cup takes some force to get out. Try twisting it and wiggling it gently while you pull.

I've had my Killer 705 since friday. Was getting dry hits all the time with the stock wick and coil. Rebuilt it yesterday with two strands of 2mm silica and had better results, but still kept getting an occasional dry hit.

Today, I tried out something similar to what Bishopheals does in his video, only with more wraps to get a 1.2-1.3 ohm dual coil using 32g kanthal and 30g .999 silver wire with unbraided silica. It was a huge pain to stuff as much silica as I could into the gap underneath the ceramic cup, but it was worth all the effort. With this dual coil setup on an unregulated mod in there a I'm finally satisfied with how the Killer vapes.

I almost want to try putting some braided ceramic wick in it (unbraided though), but I don't look forward to trying to rebuild this thing again.

Im sure it will get easier every time you do it again. I remember my first times with the simple little Vivi Nova. What a pain, mostly because of the size. After that I went to an Odysseus atomizer and it was so large it was a pleasure to put together.

Here are some photos of what Im working with.

I just cant get it off. I think the little wire is still stuck between the cup and the post.
WOW DDD, hope you have your extra prive tank they send with it. What do you think happened? Maybe you pressed it to hard? Those are pretty tough, almost as hard as glass. If you contact Kir over at Gr-Modders he might be able to get a hold of an extra tank. He also has a forum in the euro suppliers.

I got extra little screws on one of my last orders cause I tend to drop things down the drain. Next time I order, Im going to see about getting extra tanks for all my Kirs , just in case.

To _nderscore, what gauge wire and wick did you use? I only have 32 gauge kanthal , 32 and 30 gauge silver and nickel. I also only have 3mm silica.

I used 32 guage kanthal with 30 guage .999 silver in the dual coil setup. For wick, I used 2mm silica that was debraided into 6 strands. 3 strands for each coil's wick. and 6 strands between the two coils.

This is what it looked like before I stuck the ceramic into the base. I ended up having to trim 2 or 3 of the strands of the 'buffer' wick between the coils in order to fit everything under the cup. That was the toughest part of the build. :p

are you using dual coils? and do they fit down the slots or does it matter if the wick and coils sit above the slots.
Dual coils. The lower coil fit into the slots, the second one sits above it. There's plenty of room for it up there and it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I basically followed what Bishopsheals did in his video.

Darn it, again, Ive got blisters on me fingers. I had my Odysseus top cap stuck on the clear tank for a few days and the blisters healed up, Now Ive got new ones from trying to get these lettle parts apart. Swollen, I just cant do it. I wonder if I put them in the freezer it might constrict the parts enough to loosen it. Tried pouring a tiny bit of juice with no avail.
