The reg size is perfect. There is a little bit of the atty sticking out of the top cap. With the tall boy you need a straight drip tip because a reg drip tip won't stay in so the Killer will work in either size tanks.

I am currently working my way through reading this entire thread, page 54 so far, so appolgies if this has been brought up before. Anyway, I just ordered a Killer 705 from greekvapes last night, which I plant to run in my Kir Fanis Prive "Special" -damn fine looking tank. I have high hopes for this nifty little RBA, but the way it sticks out of the top of the tank drives me nuts just a little bit. I have the means to cut it down to be flush with the tank and to smooth out the edges, but is there any reason it would be advisable NOT to do that? I imagine it would amount to a warmer vape, but I can't think of any reason it would be functionally detrimental to chop it down a little bit.

I read about another member who was thinking about doing this but she wanted to chop off quite a bit and was concerned about the amount of heat being transferred to the drip tip. But if you are only talking about cutting off a little I don't think you'll notice much difference.
How long is it please and circumference give or take cm. you know. Sometimes they look so big. Size of 35 long carto? Regular size carto or? Has there been any recent changes to the design since it first came out? It's my price range yes it is and I'll follow your experience. I am a newbie-ish and will have to sort of stay that way because I'm to talented in such things but I do know how to follow! Thanks for posting
Well, it's hard to say for sure, but based on the pictures I have seen I think I'm looking to remove 5-8mm. I won't know for sure until I see it in the tank.
There are things you can do to sort of decorate parts that stick out. I sure wouldn't cut it unless it improved its function. If you do cut it list the results good or bad maybe? Maybe cut a atty sleeve. Maybe use mod wrap material. It's very good. Stays, doesn't leave residue at all you can get super thick. Being at the top it won't get too hot. It won't get too hot anyway.

That much will put your mouth pretty close to the coil. You could always use a funky plastic drip tip so you don't feel the heat so much.

Definitely. Should I choose to cut it down I will report back, but we are looking at several weeks down the road, I just placed the order last night and I think we all know how these overseas deals tend to work.
But in my case, with the Prive "Special" tank I plan to be using, I'm pretty sure the fill-screw will prohibit using anything other the a standard 510 drip tip.

Side note, can the Killer be used with a shorter 510-510 adapter so long as it still seals the bottom cap of the tank? Or is the included adapter necessary? That alone might make up the difference that I personally find so unsightly.

I just tried a shorty 510-510 adapter and it wouldn't thread all the way to close the juice control.
But holding the top portion and the bottom portion is how you open and close the juice control - if you trim the top how will you twist the killer open or closed?

Two answers to that, first being that on the Prive "Special" the bottom cap seems to turn much easier then the top cap, and the inner o-rings contacting the carto/killer/what-have-you are VERY tight. That's how mine is anyway. And second answer being that I have a very tight drip tip I intend to be using exclusively for the Killer. Naturally I will experiment thoroughly with this before I even think about cutting it.

Also, that extra tubing allows you to push the bottom cap out for refill by sliding the tank on the killer. Granted, you use a top filling screw, but say you want to use it in another tank?
There is a nice drip tip designed for the killer, I use it and it's looking amazing! Check it out here. You should be able to find it on GV too.

Cant a tank be filled by removal of the bottom cap should I be using one without a fill screw? I dont see why a shorter barrel would prohibit that. The aesthetic enhancement would be worth a little extra work, I'm kind of obsessive like that.
Also, I have seen that drip tip, but again, the fill-screw would prohibit the use of that. The fill-screw is located on the top of the top-cap and is very close to even a straight 510 drip tip. There is not enough clearance for even a genie or pawn style drip tip. Thanks for the tip though.
You could but it might be a bit messy and less sleek. Check out the video made by Leo below at around 4:20 you'll see what I meant by that:
