So I went to the post office and got my Killer. I must say it looks really nice, and my threading feels perfect. So I went back to work all excited to toss it in a tank. I cleaned out my Boge F16 carto tank that was sitting there doing nothing. Went to put my killer in it and the holes in the end caps are too small :( its not even that the O-rings are too tight the actual cap hole is too small. The killer must be just a tiny bit wider than a standard carto. So until Monday or Tuesday when my D-Base tank shows up my Killer will simply sit on my desk and look pretty.

I suppose I could use it in dripper mode but I have an ebaron dripper pro so I don't see much point in that. Who knows maybe ill toss it on my ego twist just cause lol.

That's so strange. My Killer is damn near identical in diameter to my cartos. It's fit in every carto tank I have with equal snugness to cartos. Might be a manufacturing defect that has it just a bit too large?

Haha yeah it really sucks. What's strange is that fits perfectly fine through the bottom cap actually but not the top cap. It seems like it could maybe maybe go in, but I'm not about to force it and get it stuck or scratched up.

Are you sure you have the right top cap on your carto? I know I'm grasping at straws here but hoping to get you going with your killer.

I had a very metallic taste one mine any coil I built. This morning I built a new one and the taste was still there. Took it all apart and washed it with soap and water and put the coil and cup back in, after a few pulls the metal taste was gone. Not sure what's up with that.

I noticed the top cap seemed tighter too, but it may just be the sharper edge of the upper part of the atty. Do you have a 'slap yo momma' type of tool? I use a similar (came w/IBTanked kit) tool & it helps a lot.

I don't have something like that no. I kind of want to try a bit of Vaseline or something but the top cap just doesn't seem like its physically wide enough. But like i said the killer or the 510 adapter slide through just fine on the bottom cap.

I have a 510 dripping atty that slides through the bottom cap fine and with the top cap it fit with a bit if juice lube but you can tell its just a bit tighter of a fit than the the bottom one.

Here's a picture of my killer sitting upside down on that atty. notice the left side is lined up perfect , but the right side is sticking out just a tiny tiny bit.

I will chalk this up to the killer being just a hair wider than a standard carto etc and to Chinese manufacturing being just a hair off on the top cap. Both things combine to it simply not fitting. My fancy killer tank will be here on Monday. Until then my killer can just look pretty on my desk lol.
