Finally finished this entire thread, all 141 pages. Lots of great information here. After waiting 6 weeks on a pre-order from 405 Vaperz, my Killer 705 finally arrived last week while the AGR tank i ordered sat idle the whole time. While some people are having good results with their AGR/Killer combo, I haven't due to the way the 2 are designed. Yesterday I crooked one of my wife's 19mm XL IBTanks and after replacing those crazy tight inner o-rings was surprised to find how well that tank actually works with the Killer. I push the Killer into the tank from the bottom and fill with juice without having to remove an end cap, just like you would with a carto, only backwards. There's a small gap between the top of the killer and upper o-ring that allows you to relieve the vacuum that causes the occasional vapor lock. Just pull the drip tip wail a few seconds and replace. Adjusting the juice flow is easy as long as I remember to unscrew the tank from my mod a few turns to allow the floating post to move. If I forget to unscrew the tank a few turns, the wrong part of the Killer usually separates. I have been really enjoying my Dripper Pro, but never left the house with it because I don't drip on the go, LOL. Thanks to the Killer/IBTank combo, I can enjoy the same great vape everywhere I go.
I've been looking for a suitable tank with a top fill screw and checked out a lot of the tanks mentioned in this thread, but the ones I liked were out of stock. Thanks to IBTanked my search may be over, but I'm still following Vaperfexion's progress on a Killer friendly tank. I received this reply from them early this morning:
Hi,
It would probably be best to start out with the fact that it is just not possible for us to do a top cap fill port on the 19mm Cartomator. There simply is not enough clearance in the cap to do that.
That being said, the new 22mm OD Cartomator VX is coming out this week. The 22mm cap does have the option of a top cap fill port and does offer a Killer Prep Option, which includes the cap fill-port, a longer tube and a bottom cap modification to fit the K705 connector. Since it is a new model, options on cap designs will be limited in the early going, but it is a pretty tank as it is. I should have pictures up by Monday evening of it. The product page is set up minus photos right now.
The Cartomator
The VX looks like the 19mm Cartomator SS, but the caps are slightly thicker to match the increased size and make it look proportional. As I said, pics should be up Monday.
Thank You,
Tom
WOW, responding to customer inquiries on Mother's Day. That's what I call dedication.
