Hi guys

so I stopped smoking about a year ago. I started off on the blu pod pens you can buy in a supermarket, then moved onto a T18ii and have recently bought the adept kit with a zlide tank. I have gone through one pack of 0.8 coils that I bought as replacements for when I used the ones provided. Everything was fine. I recently went to buy another pack, but they only had the 0.5ohm plexus coils which I bought. Since I’ve been using them I seem to be getting a lot of dry hits. So much so it’s putting me of using my vape. I used 50/50 juice so I don’t think the problem lies with that, I have it at the lowest wattage setting and I prime the coil well before I even think about vaping.
I never had this problem with the 0.8. Can anyone think of any reason this is happening or have any tips? I’d rather use the pack of coils I have bought before going back to my 0.8s!
Thank you :)

There are many z coils... The 0.8 used is my favorite...
Before u use a coil u should always saturate it by dropping e juice to the holes on the side of the coil and on the hole on top of it couple a drops....

After u install the coil u can let it for few minutes before vaping it...or draw 3 fast light puffs without pressing the button and with the airflow closed to help it draw juice if u are in a rush and let it one minute and then start vaping it...
It's a mesh coil Soo it heats up faster then the 0.8 Soo maybe it's that u are not used to it...
Your device detects the coil ohms Soo always start by choosing the lowest setting in power...
I am not saying that u don't do all those things just remind you...
If u do all those steps then u are doing fine...in my experience the 0.5 and 0.48 coils didn't work well and didn't last enough...
Just be patient they will be gone and then u gonna get some 0.8 again :p no big deal

Are you vaping the 0.5 ohm coil at the same wattage as the 0.8 ohm coil?

Good thinking unclejunklicious but that adept device auto detects the ohms and gives 11-14watts on under one ohm coil and 14-17for over one ohm
The 0.5coil is rated for 12-16 sooo even if u wanted u couldnt go higher than the recommended...
