Its interesting to see the fakes. What appeals about the gg is the kinda form follows function aspect of the design.Everything on it is there to perform a function , they haven't felt the need to gild the Lilly.I looked at things like the Provari, which seems well regarded, but I'm put off by the fussy design that little teardrop pattern. I have a lavatube whilst the variable voltage was interesting to experiment with I settled on 3.7v which is what the battery puts out without all that circuitry.

Yep, I know BS story when I see one Imeo, but, I didn't say anything back then in that thread.

You'll always get imitations popping up left and right, their is no stopping it even with regulations and/or policies. So the dude that made that fat ggts is actually selling em? What a pos! I made an ody look alike that doesn't use nr wire and gave it to imeo as a gift ad inspiration for whatever he needs to make later down the road. Never would I think about producing then, with or without his consent. That's just dirty! How can you take pride on something you didn't design at all! Shameless people for real. I got many requests to recreate that ody dupe I made and I never made one. Imeo has the original one and I will not make another lol

Is there any law against this? This is a little bit strange for me. There are patents, there is intelectual property... how is this possible?
Even if we supose that it is problem to resolve with China copycats, or other Asia countries, it shouldn't be problem with copycats from EU countries. Did you even make consideration about sueing someone? It would be good lesson for others.

I don't think that is a nice match for Penelope... it has approx. same diameter but that's all... I think it's just not matching somehow... it's just simply weird with Penelope imo... no matching in quality of the materials too... and it looks somehow a cheap stuff but too pricey for a copy...
[edit: I don't think that Imeo needs any protecting from these kinda stuffs, if someone wants a cheap copycat, let's buy it... if someone wants the quality, he won't buy it definitely.. quality always wins imo]

It's not the question if he needs it, I look at it more like on a principle matter... and that copycat should be punished, othervise people think that they can get with everything without any price to pay.
