Hello, ladies
. I got lost and couldn't find the ladies' room again (bf told me it was first door when I leave the room *rolls eyes*). I LOVE to read, though I've been reading less since I stopped smoking which I did outside. I have a Kindle and keep buying the first generation one from e-Bay because it's my favorite and I've heard not-so-good things about other ones. I'm reading Defending Jacob right now. A GREAT place to keep track of my books is Good Reads. You can link it to Facebook if you want and add friends who are or aren't on Facebook. I sat here one night and rated books on there and before I knew it I had over 300 books rated and about 24 in my to-read list!! If anyone is a member, I'd love to add you as a friend
. Anyway...
I'll read just about anything or at least try to. I loved Water for Elephants, The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Harry Potter, Twilight was so-so, Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz, The Da Vinci Code/Robert Langston series by Dan Brown. I like reading young adult books for some reason (maybe just light reading?). Before the Kindle, I had books given to me or books from my childhood/teenage years that I read over and over, maybe that's why. With my Kindle, I have a site where people buy certain e-books every month (new releases) and we trade. Plus, there's tons of free e-books on Facebook like Pixel of Ink and e-Reader Today. Anyway, I love to read!! I'll have to get back to it, but it's hard since my smoking time was my reading time and "me" time.
